  • Amazing, spectacular, best vacation ever!

"We had an amazing stay here! Cheryl was super efficient and the booking was easy! The unit was very clean and is even better than the pictures on here. We found everything we needed in the condo (binoculars, guide books, snorkerling gear, beach chairs, boogie board, and even fabric grocery bags for shopping since plastic bags are banned on Kauai). The views are spectacular, the location is close to everything (beaches, restaurants, ice cream shops, longs drugstore), and the whole complex was very quiet. We heard nothing but waves. The king bed and pillows were nice and comfy! Even the bathroom in this unit has a window to an ocean view! We felt warm a few times but we just opened up the doors and windows and used the fans and we were cool as cucumbers very quickly. I strongly recommend this unit for anyone! Hoping to be able to come back soon!"

  • Beautiful, Peaceful, Relaxing Vacation Home

"My wife and I had been in another rental on the west shore a few years ago and we loved it. This time, we took some family with us and we were in a larger house than the one we had before. Let me just say that this house was really, really nice! It was laid out perfectly, with 2 master bedrooms facing the ocean and a third bedroom that would have been great if we had brought children. The house sits across the road from the beach with unobstructed views of the ocean. There is a lanai on the upper floor which is where we had all of our meals, and where we hung out and watched the beautiful Kauai ocean and sunsets. For those who have not been to the west shore, you are missing a great part of Kauai. We would highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation with no crowds, beautiful scenery and a very well equipped home."

  • Relaxation at it's finest

"The Blue Lotus was as advertised and we enjoyed a wonderful week. After staying here for the first week, than going to Princeville, we wished we would have stayed the whole 2 weeks right here. The house was spotless and had everything you could think of. Loved the outdoor shower and the clothes line to hang your suits. Walking across the smooth grass to the beach for a beautiful sunset and a cold beverage was a perfect way to end the day. One day we were just sitting on the comfortable front chairs, enjoying a great breeze when a gentleman came by on a horse, he stopped and talked for a while just making sure everything was good, just being friendly, and that the way this side of the Island is. Loved every moment of our stay."

  • Nice place with neglected bathroom

"I think this was a nice, clean, well maintained house... Except for the bathroom. The grout was very moldy and gave my wife a bit of the skeevies so we went out and bought bleach spray. It only took five minutes of bleach soak and the whole shower looked much better. It also leaked very badly from the shower head which is more sad than anything else. The second shower by the garage didn't look any better, but we didn't clean that one. The toilet paper roller was missing and so are the catches in the sink and tub so you could easily lose a piece of jewelry down them. Other than that the place is comfortable and good for a large group or family. I hope I don't sound too negative because I would recommend staying here if you don't mind the heat (master bedroom has AC which is great!) The host Debra is very kind and greeted us with some fish her husband just cooked up. She lives right behind the house on the same property FYI. Mahalo, Debra!"
