  • Everything we hoped it would be!

"Our stay was only 5 nights but what a great choice it turned out to be! Joe Dorsey was our guide, advisor and mentor on all things "Aloha". Thank you so much for your prompt replies to my numerous emails. The suite was all we hoped for...ocean views from the lanai and great sunrises while enjoying our breakfast. We could literally hear our two grandchildren's breath taken away when we first opened the lanai when we arrived. The small pool and hot tub were a welcome place to kick back after a long day relaxing on Maui. The nearby snorkeling beach was a huge bonus since many other prime snorkeling beaches had little or no parking within the same timezone. Some of us saw turtles face to face while snorkeling which was most memorable. One day, we practically walked all the way to Sugar Beach along the beach from Haycraft Park. We walked to town a lot for meals or shopping. In Maalaea, we are within a day trip to almost anywhere we want to go. We never got the pleasure of meeting Officer Roberts but we smiled a bit whenever we saw a motorcycle cop. We enjoyed the residents and the other tourists that we met at the Maalaea Banyans condos. It's a very friendly building. Since we already live in a condo, it felt quite homey...except for the weather, scenery and, okay, almost everything. We hope to return some day...maybe with another grandchild, and when the whales are in the bay. Mahalo nui loa, Marcel, Wendy, Hope and Ashton"

  • Had a great time!

"This was a great condo to stay in. We got in to Maui late, and it was very easy to find the keys and the location. The listing is exactly as it looks, it was mostly clean, the floor was a bit dirty, but likely because of the wind blowing it in under the main door. (maybe a quick strip replacement is needed?) The owner communicated greatly, and the maintenance office was helpful when the fridge didn't work. I have already recommended this property to my friends! I adored that I could sit on the patio and watch the sea turtles graze right below us! The little general store down the street was our first stop every morning and Kihei was only about 8-10 minutes away! We'll be back for sure! Thank you!"

  • Million Dollar View of Paradise

"This is the second year in a row we've stayed at Jerry and Barbara's condo. We've stayed at other properties on Maui for more money and they don't come close in comparison to this unit. The view from the lanai is spectacular!! It's very private and as the pictures show right on the ocean. We watched whales and their calves, and large sea turtles swimming in the ocean while we ate our breakfast on the lanai. There are direct views of Mt. Haleakala (great sunrise pictures), the small snorkeling island of Molokini and the larger island Molokai right from the unit which is on the third floor. The location is perfect, centrally located for travel to other parts of Maui and very quiet as you will not see the tourists like in Kihei 10 minutes away. A 5 minute walk gets you to shops, restaurants, a dock for whale cruising, etc., a farmers market or the Maui Ocean Center. Be sure to have a meal at the Beach Bums overlooking the marina at Maalaea. Jerry and Barbara were very helpful in pointing out local restaurants on the island, sights and some of the events unique to Maui. The unit is well equipped if you chose to do some cooking and the appliances are up-scale and include a new washer and dryer. When we used the swimming pool which fronts the ocean, we had the pool to ourselves. We did not have to use the air-conditioner since the trade winds were produced such a natural air flow throughout the beautifully decorated unit. We were able to use our computers and the 4G service. We also used some of the beach amenities that come with the unit. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo and plan on returning soon. I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants a true Hawaiian experience."

  • Perfect 8 day get-away!

"Aloha from Chuck and Mary! Our stay at your lovey condo provided us a wonderful relaxing time. The amenities you provided, the great views and the wonderful people we met, helped to make this visit magical. I hope we left everything satisfactory. The only odd thing I found was a dryer full of stuff when we left. I was checking everywhere to make sure we left nothing behind when I found the items. They might have been sheets, but I'm not sure. While on vacation, I don't cook, clean or do laundry, but I understand many people do. We used the gas grill 3 nights and that is another great amenity we found. We met some very interesting people from France, Canada and Australia while barbecuing. My husband, Chuck, did clean the inside of the refrigerator and freezer when we arrived. We know that is an area that is often over looked, so no big deal. The bed was very comfy and the furnishings were perfect for the location. Again, thank you for providing us with a wonderful experience........Chuck and Mary Stoebe"
