  • This is the place to stay!

"We stayed in Maui (our frist time) for 10 days. We debated after hearing so many opinions where to stay. We chose #430 at Sugar Beach for its price point and reviews. It was clean and had almost everything we needed. It was perfect for our first trip as it was so central to explore everywhere. We ended up spending most of our time in West Maui on the beaches and would probably stay there next time to save the commute. It has a gorgeous view, very comfortable bed, it's quiet, perfect amount of space and all the cookware you need, did I mention CLEAN!?3 rolls of TP AND 2 boxes of tissue plus more than enough laundry detergent and spare towels. (this next part is for the owner) we missed not having more picnic appropriate dishes etc. made it difficult to pack food and we didn't want to buy any paper goods because of the waste. Thank you Vicky and family for taking care and pride in your home away from home. It was perfect!"

  • Wonderful Condo!

"Wonderful experience at this condo: Unit #507 Kihei Surfside. The view can't be beat - the complex is lovely, the grounds immaculate. All guests and residents were very mindful of the 9:00 p.m. quiet time, which we appreciated. Great location in South Kihei - a bit quieter than the heart of Kihei, yet very walkable to all of the excellent beaches, bars and restaurants. The unit is in great shape and well equipped, including snorkeling gear, beach chairs and a beach umbrella, which was a surprise to us. We will definitely try and stay in this same unit our next trip to Maui - we just loved it - thanks!"

  • Perfect vacation home in Paradise!

"Aloha! We recently stayed in this unit for 10 days and found it to be a great location as well as quiet. Within walking distance of a beach (0.4 mile pleasant stroll), where you can take long beach walks without the big resorts or seeing a lot of people. Did not even need bug spray here, the ocean winds provide relief from that. We only used the AC the first night, still being acclimated to mainland habits! We then cracked open the front door and opened the bedroom window. The wind blowing through the unit was phenomenal! The sound of the waves and view from the condo is outstanding and lovely. So comforting to wake up to that everyday and it was so hard to leave it in the end. The condo was well stocked and well taken care of. Quite relaxing after a long day of sightseeing! : ) This condo was perfect for us, an active 50+ couple. Could be cramped with more people I would think, although when sleeping on the foldout couch in the living room, it was spa-like to listen to the waves as you fall asleep. We enjoyed using the telescope and binoculars, especially at night, to view the moon, stars and Kihei. LOVED the scenic drives (both sides of the "peanut" are equally beautiful). If you want to do one of the luaus, book early. They fill up faster than we anticipated and so we missed going to one. Snorkel/beach equipment is included and they also sell snorkel equipment everywhere. We found Longs Drugs has some of the best prices. The "Maui Revealed" book was a great addition to our stay as it mentioned many worthwhile adventures and sights that would otherwise be missed. Hiking is superb on this island. Gwen and Richard have thought of everything for their guests and are quite easy to talk to and get ahold of. Even though it is a second floor unit it would be easy for those with disabilities to get around as there is an elevator as well as steps to the second floor. We highly recommend this condo to anyone wanting to stay on Maui. It's a great value, quiet, centrally located and has gorgeous views of Maalaea Bay! Have fun, Mahalo!!"

  • Wonderful Condo and Vacation!

"What a beautiful stay we had in your condo! It was nicely decorated and stocked with all essentials. My kids enjoyed using the body boards and exploring the long beach for crabs and turtles. They even found sea urchins in the rocky tide pools a short walk down the beach. This condo is located in an area that makes it easy to drive to all the sightseeing locations. One little tip for all of you that do laundry on vacation as I do....the manager's office will make change for you so that you will have quarters for the washer/dryer. :) Thanks for a great place to stay!"
