  • could not be better

"Everything is even nicer then in the pictures. beach is ok for small kids, waves don't get to high and its not very deep Sea turtles at night are awesome! grocery/liquor store just a block away house was very clean and spacious the lawn by the back deck was perfect for kids to play ball (we actually played Coconut catch) island just like every other tropical island has homeless people, but they didn't bother us at all! Thanks Doug Martynas and Vilma"

  • Gorgeous home and view - one drawback

"We had such an amazing time at this lovely home. It was fully stocked and really didn't miss a beat. The view and location is close to perfection. The only drawback was there is no air conditioning. We were there during a pretty hot and humid week and during the day it was almost unbearable. I just wish I had known this ahead of time as my parents are in their 70's and it was difficult for them. They provide many fans, but it was still really sticky :( Other than that, lovely stay and hospitality."

  • Fantastic! We love the BlueRock BeachHouse

"Absolutely wonderful 10 days at the BlueRock BeachHouse. Pool and yard were lovely, beds so comfy and kitchen well equipped. We had everything we could possibly need. Bbq, beach chairs, & endless beach towels. Three generations of my family had a fantastic time. Beautiful home. We will return. *Nicole you are lovely & fantastic too! Mahalo."

  • Wow! What a great location.

"This place has everything you need and more. Clearly an away home for the owners. You almost feel like you know them. Everyone I dealt with was very responsive and very nice. In spite of the reviews about the homeless in the empty lot, they were never a problem or bothered us. Security comes through every day. Secluded out of the way of tourists and big resorts. Practically your own private home. Luckily our neighbors next door were super nice. I could see how that could be problematic. Your close to everything. Try the Flyin Hawaiian zip line while your there. They bought the land above the Maui tropical plantation to stop developers. Locals don't want to live in another Honolulu. I like Oahu a lot but I love Maui. The plantation is another must see. The pictures posted on the VRBO site are pretty accurate but like most pictures they just don't do it justice. This was my ninth time to Maui and Papa Ouli's was by far the best place I've stayed. Go to MonkeyPod to eat. Note to the homeowner...Blinds on the upstairs bedroom sunrise window. I hope they're there when I go back. Thanks for the memories. Bob Hinds"
