  • Great value in this lovely condo

"Very much enjoyed our stay! Happy to report that all the great reviews of this property are true! Most definitely the best stocked condo I've stayed in on Maui. The owners have given a lot of thought to the decor and essentials in their condo. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and the grounds well kept. We went for walks on the beach out front daily and enjoyed watching the kite surfers. Thank you for sharing your island home with us! I just hope it's available for our next trip!"

  • Great Value, Great location, Great Condo

"Mel's unit at Kihei Garden Estates was great; we stay a month. Mel was very easy to work with. The unit is a bargain compared to other units on Maui. That doesn't mean it isn't fully functional with everything you need. The bed is a king and very comfortable. That's important to us for such a long stay. The kitchen is fully stocked and we ate many meals at home. The grounds a very well kept. The pool and barbecue area were always clean. The hot tub was a nice place to relax in the evening. Kihei Garden Estates is a great central location. The beach next door was a nice place to watch the sunset. The first day we were there we saw a green sea turtle on the beach. We also saw whales from the beach. If you like a great value you can't go wrong renting here."

  • Fabulous home close to everything Kihei has to offer!

"This place was fantastic! Our party of 7 was here for 2 weeks and this place had more than enough room to accommodate everyone comfortably. The house was very well maintained. The kitchen and appliances were top notch and included everything you could possibly imagine (pots, pans, cutlery, glassware, high end smaller appliances, etc.). There were also a lot of "extras" left behind from prior guests (like spices, plastic bags, etc.) which kept us from having to buy a bunch of extra stuff when we arrived. The master bedroom was HUGE! Our infant son slept in a playpen (provided by Nicole) in the walk-in closet, while everyone else in our party had their own rooms. We could have easily had 3-4 more people stay in the house with us if need be. Now the best part - the yard and pool! I always forget that most pools in Maui aren't heated (my parents stayed at a condo complex down the road and their pool wasn't heated either), but once you get over the initial shock of jumping in, we had a blast playing with the kids and floating around in the sun all afternoon. I also didn't realize how rare it was to find a private house with a pool in Maui - and this pool and yard was fantastic for us and the kids to run around and play. The outdoor shower was also a nice treat after a long swim at the house or to come home after spending a day at the beach - we were able to wash everyone off (with warm water) and keep the kids from tracking sand throughout the house. Nicole was a real pleasure to deal with. Anytime we had questions, she was very quick to respond and/or stop in to help us out. She also had a lot of great suggestions for us for what beaches to check out and where we could get a good deal on rental gear before venturing into the ocean. Thank you Nicole! Maalea Harbor was a 15 minute drive north; Wailea was a 15 minute drive south; and there were numerous beaches, restaurants and shopping centers within 5-10 minutes of the house that made it easy to get out for a quick trip or an all-day adventure. The grocery store was literally a block away which was nice since we cooked most meals at the house, and there were also a number of restaurants along S. Kihei Road (either walking distance or a short drive) that were top notch. Overall this was one of the best trips we have ever taken as a family and we can't wait to bring more of the family back in a couple years! Thanks again Nicole. Mahalo! Kurtis"

  • Spacious, comfy & relaxing

"We enjoyed our stay as always. Our main reason for our visits to Maui is to visit our grandchildren who live there in Wailuku. We come so randomly that it makes it impossible to always get the same unit. We love that the condo is spacious and has lots of room to move around. The grounds there are so well maintained. We love to watch the sunset in the evenings and bbq at the grills after. We have met a lot of wonderful people there and their children. We can hardly get the kids out of the pool. The condo is well supplied with everything you'd need. No activity is to far from Maui Sunset. And if you think so..... The drives are worth it! We will probably be back in Dec., so we'll have to see what Maui Sunset has to offer. We would definitely recommend this unit. The owners were great to work with and did a few favors for us that we really appreciated. Rudy & Sharyl Martinez /Calif. June/July 2016"
