"This condo was perfect for our stay. It was very inviting, clean and had all the necessities of home! The pool and grounds were well kept and many friendly people. Tim and Vicky are amazing and I am so grateful they shared their piece of paradise with us! If I was to suggest one thing to improve, it would be the balcony area. We never sat out at all on the balcony as it did not seem very comfy and inviting. But everything else was perfect!"

"We have no hesitation in echoing the positive reviews for Barb and Pat's condo at Wailana Sands. It is clean, well maintained and fully equiped with all one's needs. We found our hosts to be helpful and friendly and enjoyed our evening get togethers at the pool with them and other owners of this small and congenial complex. We would certainly recommend this apartment for anyone wishing to relax and to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
Linda an Keith."

"We thoroughly enjoyed this stay with one exception. The property is ideally situated near things that were very important to us. The beach was great - we were able to snorkel every morning and saw turtles daily. The snorkel shop, restaurants, fast food, shopping and shave ice are conveniently located nearby. The unit is supplied with beach supplies (although one chair should be replaced). The only negative to this stay was a noise problem at 4:30 a.m. outside our windows every morning. After the second day, we asked the office manager what was going on. He explained that it is someone's business and there is nothing they can do (maybe Kihei does not have noise ordinances) so we closed our windows at night but we were still awaken each morning at 4:30."

"Kihei Akahi unit C618 - October 2016
We are back in Canada after having a great stay in Maui. We really appreciated the nice touches found around the unit – the reno’d bath and kitchen, great art work everywhere, comfortable furniture, great king bed, even the pineapple desk lamps were a nice touch. Location is great being in the middle of Kihei, walking distance to most things.
Everything is in the unit that you might need for a stay - beach umbrella, towels and chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and a raft of other items.
We had an issue with a loud A/C unit. As soon as we mentioned it to Kathy, it was replaced the following day! That's great service. Being up on the 6th floor (yes, there is an elevator), there was usually a breeze that was able to keep the unit pleasant. In the summer, the A/C probably wouldn't be able to keep the unit and especially the bedroom from being quite warm. For us in October, it was pleasant to warm. There are extra fans that can be used to keep cooler.
Wifi, was limited in the unit, however this was also fixed fast when we were supplied with another router to connect to.
Kathy is obviously a great host and kept us happy. Communication was great and she even allowed us to check out late at no charge."
