  • First time in Maui- great accommodations!

"Bring your own toothbrush and bathing suit when you arrive; you'll find everything else already there, waiting for you to pick up and head for a (nearby) beach. The unit is air conditioned to ward off those days which some might consider a bit oppressive. The king-size bed if comfortable, as are the other furniture items. Wi-fi connectivity provides high-speed internet access. A large-screen TV provides access to broadcast stations. The unit is well-stocked with amenities which extend well past motel-type accommodations - beach chairs/towels/umbrella/soda cooler are already there for your use. Same for cooking and dining - bring your own food - all the pots/pans/plates/bowls and other necessities for cooking and eating are are there, ready for use. Coffee drinkers would need to bring beans in order to enjoy the use of the Cuisinart 12-cup grinder/coffeemaker . A refrigerator, cookstove, and dishwasher are available for use, right down to the dishwasher soap. The unit is centrally located for more popular northern and southern Kihei beaches, although some will require a car to reach. Other beaches are easily reached after a short walk. Assigned, off-street parking is a major plus. Coordination with the owner for a minor problem was required only once, and was accomplished quickly. A pool is available for use (but we chose to make the short drive to a popular beach.) Access to the major inland access roadway (to the airport and more traditional shopping stores) is readily available. One note of caution - the unit is on the second level; plan on a set of stairs, as there is no elevator."

  • Good place to stay

"The owner was awesome to deal with. We ended up having to shorten our trip because of flights and the owner offered to refund us for the one night that we were unable to use. The unit was good. The building is older and a little dated but it served the purpose and it was close to the ocean. I would stay here again."

  • Relaxing Stay

"My family of four stayed here for almost two and a half weeks. My daughters loved the short walk to the closest beach (Kamaole I), the many nearby shave ice stands, the pool, the geckos that waited by the outside lights at night, and the turtles. The condo was well equipped, and the owner, in spite of being out of town during part of our stay, made sure that the minor issues we had were dealt with promptly. At one point, we requested two more beach towels, and when we came back from our morning snorkel, they were waiting just inside the door for us. We are from Washington state and expected the heat to be a bit overwhelming, but the trade winds cooled off the condo well enough that we were able to open the windows and enjoy the tropical air. We didn't need to use the air conditioning during our stay. The condo is also centrally enough located that we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go to; the grocery store is within a half-mile. I would definitely stay here again."

  • Convenient!

"We had a blast staying at Daniel's place. It was easy & convient walk to the beach! We made breakfast most mornings in the condo before heading out for the day. The beds were comfy to come home to after a long day of site seeing. I would highly recommend this condo and the price was perfect!"
