  • Wonderful place

"My 12 year old Granddaughter and I stayed for 5 days. The condo was in the perfect location! Just as stated, it was literally a 2 minute walk to a great beach! There was everything we needed in the condo, including boogie boards! The bed was super comfy, the kitchen was awesome. Booking was super easy with Lisa. I got my deposit back in the mail right away. I would definitely recommend this to everyone! I hope to stay again someday."

  • Very much like home.

"This was my first time renting a house/condo from an owner so I was a bit skeptical. But as it turned out it was a the right choice for us visiting Maui as it gave us more flexibility in our stay housing 7 guests (3 adults and 4 kids). The condo itself felt very much like home. Had all the trinkets/gadgets you needed to go to the beach or any day trips. (Coolers/body boards etc.). Also had surprisingly all the kitchen equipment needed to make homestyle meals. There were several things I had concerned about but didn't affect our vacation so I'm not going to mention them here as the owner are addressing them now. The one thing that I do need to mention is that if you're checking-in after 4pm, make sure you get all the info from the condo you need such as room number and code for the room as I wasn't provided with one when we arrived at 9:30 PM at the condo. The VRBO site wasn't clear and concise as to what needed to be done when you check in after 4 PM. The site says to go to the condo office to check in after 4pm, but that is wrong because the office only assigns parking permits and closes at 6pm. It's the agent of the condo that you need to deal with when checking in (AA Oceanfront). An off hours phone number to the agent would've been helpful as I was scrambling around for it. So basically I should've been provided with a room number and code to enter the condo, but wasn't. So it was a bit frustrating. Aside from that, I would still book this condo. Regards The Canares7"

  • Totally Impressed!

"This was the first time that our family had booked through VRBO and we were a little nervous about selecting a condo without any knowledge of its condition, location etc. I have to say that we were more than pleased with the whole experience. From the ease of booking the condo through the management company (Paradise Vacations) to the comforts and conveniences of this beautiful condo, our Vacation was fantastic! The unit was very nicely decorated and stocked with almost everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The updated kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the beach accessories that were provided and we even donated a couple more boogie boards for the next guests to enjoy! The grounds were impeccably maintained and we made good use of the bbq's, tennis courts and swimming pools. Each morning my wife and I enjoyed sitting on the lanai with our coffee's listening to the birds sing and the views of the Cove where our teenage kids learned to surf. The location of the condo couldn't have been better. Charlie Young beach right across the street was one of our favorite beaches. There were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and our kids found it easy to get a gelato or shaved ice. Best place we found for snorkeling was at Makena Beach (kids loved the turtles). We rented snorkel equipment from one of the many Snorkel Bob's found in the Kihei area. We took the Trilogy Whale watch on a catamaran and even though the ocean was rough that day we had a great time, were well treated and saw some whales. The road to Hana was just as we had heard. Lots of curves! Make sure if you decide to drive it that you have lots of time, some gravol and be sure to stop at some the beach areas along the way. We really enjoyed the black sands at Waianapanapa State Park and the huge waves at Ho’okipa Beach Park and Homoa Beach. Although it's only been a month since we were there (Feb 2016) we are already talking about returning again one day. I would definitely stay here again if its available!"

  • Maui Honeymoon Magic!

"Something wonderful happened here in Maui that is hard to put into words - its like my wife and I found each other again! It usually began each morning sitting out on the lanai of the condo with coffee and listening to a choral of Hawaiian birds waking up the island. We watched as the sun slowly creep across the roof tops and trees making its way toward us. After breakfast we often explored the neighbourhood with brisk walks together. Often we met the locals fishing off the seawall and would stop for a quick chat. Next it was time for Charlie Young Beach across the street where we snorkeled together over coral reefs holding hands. Usually we were swimming with turtles. After resting and sun tanning in the afternoon, we slowly strolled along the soft sandy beaches in the evenings and finally sat in the beach chairs provided by the condo to watch the orange filled glowing sunset (Of course we always had special drinks in our chairs). Once with our binoculars we saw a family of whales breaching in the evening sunset. As a middle-aged couple we have always loved each other. When we were first married we could not afford such a romantic getaway and later we were usually consumed with raising family and with work. There is something about this place that brings out your first love and you remember what its all about. We called it Maui Magic. The owners of this condo were the ones that made this all possible. They were so accommodating, trustworthy, and very responsive to our questions. The condo itself is very well kept and filled with fun things to do. As others have said its within walking distance of everything we wanted. We only rented a car one day to see the other side of the island. This kept our expenses down and made this trip actually affordable. Am I coming back? You bet I am! I don't want to loose what we have just rediscovered ! ( I have already booked next years dates! ) We are taking back with us an inner peace that we found together here in Maui and will be counting down the days until we are able to come back again. Bring your bride to Maui. Contact the owners of this condo for a place to stay that is close to everything, clean, and affordable. Do this, and I promise you the Maui Magic will bring you closer together and you will find a Maui inner peace. Mahalo"
