  • Totally Impressed!

"This was the first time that our family had booked through VRBO and we were a little nervous about selecting a condo without any knowledge of its condition, location etc. I have to say that we were more than pleased with the whole experience. From the ease of booking the condo through the management company (Paradise Vacations) to the comforts and conveniences of this beautiful condo, our Vacation was fantastic! The unit was very nicely decorated and stocked with almost everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The updated kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the beach accessories that were provided and we even donated a couple more boogie boards for the next guests to enjoy! The grounds were impeccably maintained and we made good use of the bbq's, tennis courts and swimming pools. Each morning my wife and I enjoyed sitting on the lanai with our coffee's listening to the birds sing and the views of the Cove where our teenage kids learned to surf. The location of the condo couldn't have been better. Charlie Young beach right across the street was one of our favorite beaches. There were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and our kids found it easy to get a gelato or shaved ice. Best place we found for snorkeling was at Makena Beach (kids loved the turtles). We rented snorkel equipment from one of the many Snorkel Bob's found in the Kihei area. We took the Trilogy Whale watch on a catamaran and even though the ocean was rough that day we had a great time, were well treated and saw some whales. The road to Hana was just as we had heard. Lots of curves! Make sure if you decide to drive it that you have lots of time, some gravol and be sure to stop at some the beach areas along the way. We really enjoyed the black sands at Waianapanapa State Park and the huge waves at Ho’okipa Beach Park and Homoa Beach. Although it's only been a month since we were there (Feb 2016) we are already talking about returning again one day. I would definitely stay here again if its available!"

  • awesome location, awesome place!

"This was our first time staying in KKN 142 and it was absolutely perfect, would definitely stay here again. The unit has everything you need to be comfortable, plenty of beach gear (coolers, comfy beach chains, umbrellas, sandcastle stuff, boogie boards, beach towels, bamboo mats, even extra sun screen and aloe!). The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils you could possibly need. Comfortable king size bed with a large closet for stowing away your luggage and hanging up clothes. There were a lot of extra towels in the closet as well, which we appreciated. Everything was sparkling clean, Hope does a wonderful job of keeping the place tidy for guests. Hope was very helpful to us as we actually locked ourselves out of the unit by accident when we arrived--we did not realize the front door locks automatically upon closing, and we forgot to take the keys back outside with us when we went to grab luggage from the car. It was after-hours so the office was closed, but she was able to make some phone calls to get the security person on-site to find us and let us in. Hope really does a great job of making you feel welcome and at home-she was sweet enough to bring us some local treats which was very thoughtful. The location was very convenient too, not too far from the air port, but also reasonable driving distance to all the other major areas of the island. Since it's a first floor unit you don't have to hike up a bunch of stairs with your luggage. Having a GOOD beach across the street is amazing, and to top it all off you can see the sun set there every evening. We did a lot of exploring around the island and found that the beaches in Kihei were nicer than those in Lahaina, which seemed to be smaller and PACKED with tourists. Location is also good for shopping and restaurants - there were many restaurants within walking distance that were excellent."
