  • awesome place and location

"We have stayed at this property more than once and are very happy with it. Well maintained and well stocked. Great proximity to beaches and restaurants. Sandy beach just across the road. Decent snorkeling. Whale watching. Walking trail along the ocean. Places to eat - Club 808 (you can bring your own wine and beer) Moose's - always fun and good food. Freds Mexican restaurant. Great cinnamon bun place in the strip mall. S & P is a great side street outside café with great coffee, fresh mango juice and amazing fruit parfait. would not hesitate to stay at this unit - owners are very accommodating!"

  • Good value

"This rental, for us, was just fine. We kept our expectations fairly low because of the price, and I think you get what you pay for here. My main complaint was I found the bed to be very bouncy/uncomfortable. But the rest of the condo was great - beach chairs were provided, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need. I liked the location as well, though I think we will choose a condo a bit closer to the Wailea area next time to be closer to the really long stretches of uninterrupted beaches."

  • Well-stocked and comfortable accommodations

"Jonathan's home was even more beautifully decorated than the photos in the listing suggest, as other guests have noted. The backyard was a slice of paradise in the larger slice of paradise that is Maui. The home was furnished with everything we needed and more. The kitchen utilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained. We had paper towels, local coffee, etc. There were a ton of bikes to choose from, and Jonathan was always available if you needed him. The location was perfect for us to explore the whole island. Oh, and if Jonathan recommends a restaurant, you are stupid not to go. Also, if you find that you are addicted to AC on the mainland, go ahead and break the habit and open the windows as Jonathan suggests. It really is cooler. Thanks, Jonathan, for a wonderful stay! You are an awesome host."

  • None Better!

"We have been coming to the island for 20 years, and have rented many places - ohanas, condos, as well as a house (in Maui Meadows). But Linda and Al's condo is THE BEST! If you are looking for a convenient location (anything you need is within walking distance), clean (Linda is meticulous), modern (updates always in the works), and comfortable (central A/C is a must for us) - this is the place! The beach is across the street, ABC Store is next door, Maui Gelato is a short evening walk (right after watching the sunset), and if you're hungry there's Cafe' Ole' (the blackend Mahi Mahi is outta this world!), Pizza Hut (next to Maui Gelato), a new Mexican eatery (same plaza as Pizza Hut/Maui Gelato), or Fred's (another Mexican place), or a short drive to Wailea to Monkey Pod or any of the restaurants along the hotel strip (Humu's is always our favorite). Seldom any rain - so you have a virtual guarantee of perfect weather. Don't want to go anywhere? Sit on either lanai (of the dining room or the living room) and relax while you watch people or feed the Franklin birds (they'll eat out of your hand), and the mynas and cardinals. Out the lanai doors is the beach where you can watch the sunset, out the back door is the pool. How convenient is that? And oh, that Kuereg! Just like the one in the rooms at the Grand Wailea! Linda goes above and beyond as a hostess. Hmmmm . . . maybe we'd better book it (again) before anyone else takes our favorite dates!"
