  • The best I've experienced

"Greg, what a wonderful stay we had at your unit at Maui Vista. We have stayed there 5 times now and yours was the nicest unit we have stayed in. The uniqueness of the finishes from the curved walls and openings to the awesome shower and the comfortable bed made this a most pleasant stay. The in house washer/ dryer are most convenient. Greg even has a coffee grinder so can enjoy Hawaii's fine coffees from whole beans. Greg was most accessible and able to answer any questions we had. Outside the lanai it was 30 feet to the swimming pool and just a few more steps to exit the property to walk the short distance to Charley Young Beach. The water was clear and the waves great to play in. We saw 8 turtles over 2 days not 150 feet along the shore in the rocks and reef while snorkeling right there at the beach. Now that is an experience! We also got to watch a world class sculptor while he continued his work on a mermaid 6 feet tall with fish and turtles and coral and crabs all carved out of wood right there at the north end of the beach. And any day you happen to be there at sunset you get to watch the sun sink into the sea. It draws a crowd! You can try surfing just 2 blocks north at The Cove and dine and shop at the Kalama Beach shopping area a block further up. Maui Vista is just in the right place. There is so much to do around here. Needless to say we highly recommend this unit and Maui Vista and will try to stay at Greg's unit the next time we visit Maui. Mahalo!"

  • Great condo, great owner, excellent location!

"We had a wonderful stay at Klassy Kalama. The property is clean. It is close to everything in Kihei. Jerry and Meredith were very welcoming, responsive and patience with all of my queries. The booking process from start to finish was a breeze and we were provided with clear instructions and directions. The condo has everything you need. We have travelled to other Hawaiian islands and always stayed at places that have full kitchen because we loved getting local produce and seafood from the local markets to fix our meal. So, the first thing that I did was checked out the kitchen. I must say Klassy Kalama's kitchen is exceptional! The kitchen appliances works great, the utensils and dishes were clean. There were various sizes of pots and non stick pans, as well as various kinds of knives. All were good quality. The cabinets were well stocked with all kinds of condiments, herbs and spices, etc, and everything was well organized. And...I'm a fan of glass cookware :) As soon as I saw them in the kitchen cabinets, I was ecstatic! I knew then that I would enjoy cooking in this kitchen, just like at home! The condo also has everything you need for beach day. We used the beach chairs, beach mats, umbrella, cooler, beach towels, snorkel sets and boogie boards. We really like Kihei. In my opinion it has more of a campy beach town feel to it compared to West Maui and you are around MANY more locals, which is perfect for us! Great location as starting point to drive around the island. We spent a lot of time on the beach and definitely appreciate that this condo is walking distance to many beautiful beaches in South Maui. Our favorites are Charley Young and Keawakapu Beach. They are family friendly beaches. Sunsets are beautiful at any of these beaches. Charley Young is 5 mins walk from the condo and is a turtle highway!! Some of them swam right up to us when we were swimming. The waves were great for boogie boarding. Our son said, "I hope Jerry will keep this boogie board forever so that it will always be here when we come back!" The complex is well maintained. They were installing a gazebo in the BBQ area the day we left. Jerry and Meredith were easily contacted when we were at the condo and readily to assist. We certainly appreciate their professionalism. From the Haleakala's peak to underwater Molokini -- MAHALO, Jerry and Meredith! Klassy Kalama was our home away from home. We hope you are able to receive us again soon! Maybe Molokai next :)"

  • Excellent condo

"This condo is exactly as advertised. It is very nicely furnished and met all of our needs. We used both the main unit and the second bedroom. With two couples, this was a perfect arrangement. Let me assure anyone looking at this unit that the primary bedroom has a king-sized bed. I appreciated walk in shower since I don't like tub/shower combinations. The kitchen was fully furnished which wasn't a big deal to us but may be to others. the balcony is exceptionally large...there is a smaller one for the second bedroom/unit. Both air-conditioning units workered well and kept us very comfortable."
