  • Great location and excellent host!

"We're a family of three and we chose this condo primarily on the price, location and last minute availability for the season (late Aug). Jeremy was very quick to respond and very helpful, pro-active and friendly, helping us with tips for figuring out island logistics, food shopping and so on. The condo was great for our needs. A short walk to the beach (1 minute) and convenient for everything. We''ve grown very fond of Kam 2 beach over all the others. :-) The Kihei Kai Nani complex (or whatever you call it) was helpful (main office) and their pool was a real plus for our son, who learned to get comfortable there and had way more fun in the ocean as a result. The pool was never crowded and everyone friendly. The unit was in great shape, good amenities for the price, and a comfortable bed. No view of the ocean, but with it so close by, it doesn't really matter. There were lots of summer reading books, board games for our little guy, and an acoustic guitar, which was a really nice surprise. With both doors open in the late afternoon or evening, a nice cool breeze kept us comfortable. We rarely used the air con. If you're looking for food shopping within walking distance, we'd recommend the organic food store, which actually had pretty reasonable prices called Half Moon or something like that, on South Kihei Road, just a block or two up. Best food of the trip within walking distance was Cafe O Lei for dinner. Worst was Bistro 808 for breakfast, give that a pass. The beaches are beautiful and an early morning trip before the wind picks up is key. We saw lots of turtles in the water right from shore, and this beach seemed fairly tame for the season (Aug/Sept) for swimming as we did laps of it in the morning and even in the late afternoon. We'll definitely book again! Thanks very much for welcoming us into your condo, Jeremy. Mahalo."

  • Awesome stay!

"This studio was perfect for my boyfriend and I. It is a few minutes walk to the beautiful Kamaole beach and it has plenty of great restaurants near by, as well as convenient stores. The room is neat and clean and is equipped with things we needed for our 10-day stay. We appreciated the beach chairs and small cooler provided by Steve and Tamara. The cooler came in especially handy when we went on the road to Hana and hiked the Haleakala. We brought some light groceries for breakfast (the size of the fridge was perfect) and ate out for dinner - spending most of days out exploring different beaches and cool places. The studio is located at a convenient location making our longest drive to different destinations just 2-hours (and that was to road to Hana). Steve and Tamara were easily contacted when we needed new linens mid-way through our stay. We highly recommend Steve and Tamara's studio to anyone looking for a stay in Maui!!"

  • Perfect stay

"We've just returned from a week stay in Courtney's fabulous condo, we just wish we'd stayed longer. We loved the location on Maui, not too far from anywhere, and locally a great organic supermarket over the road providing lovely prepared salads and good coffee, fabulous Thai restaurant very close and fun pupus and happy hours not far away, and the local bus stop is very convenient if you don't want to drive. The condo itself was perfectly presented, spotlessly clean and ideal for 2 couples, a great layout with generous and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. A very well equipped kitchen and comfortable dining, lounge and lanai where we spent quite a bit of time watching the ever changing beach and of course the beautiful sunsets. We loved being on the second level, very easy access to the pool, lounges and beautiful beaches without having to wait for a lift. The rooftop barbecue area is an added bonus with beautiful views to the mountain and sea and the bbqs are spotless. The fact that it didn't have air conditioning was not an issue, the fans worked beautifully and very quietly and the breeze was more than enough to cool the condo, the timber blinds in the front bedroom certainly kept the heat out. We'd certainly highly recommend this condo."
