  • Amazing!

"We just finished our 2 week stay at this fantastic condo (today was our last day). It is gorgeous, large and very roomy for 2 adults and 3 children. We enjoyed the best lanai in the complex to see the sunsets. Lots of chairs, beach towels and toys for families. Gorgeous kitchen with everything you could ask for. The pools were very clean and had lots of space for relaxing. We will be booking with you again! Thank you!"

  • The perfect condo....

"My mom (age 55) and I (age 30) stayed in this condo for 10 nights. When we were on the plane, I opened up the VRBO page to show my mom the photos and panicked when I saw the most recent review. I can whole-heartedly say that the poor review could not have been more wrong. This condo is AMAZING. When we first walked in, the condo was obviously impeccably clean and well-kept. I was also pleasantly surprised by how much of the ocean you could see from the lanai. Usually "peek-a-boo views" are pretty minimal, but I felt you had a great view. The location of the condo was perfect - easy access to the main pool, which has recently been redone and easy access to the beach. The complex is quiet and very well-maintained. The condo had everything we needed for any enjoyable vacation - beach chairs, boogie board, fully stocked kitchen, a safe for our valuables, reliable wifi, free calling home to Canada, two good sized bathrooms (good for two women travelling together), and so much more. The mattress was very soft and we loved this; we had never slept better. I've stayed in various VRBO condos in Kihei and this was by far the best. The condo is even nicer than the photos. I feel badly that the most recent review prevents this place from having five stars. I know many people only book places with five stars. I have used VRBO a lot (in Maui and elsewhere) and can say that this place is five stars in every way. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's clean, safe, quiet, comfortable, and in a perfect location... You can't ask for better."

  • Best bang for your buck

"We really enjoyed staying at this condo. The owner is great, the management is responsive, and this condo is one of the best deals for your money on Maui, and we've been to Maui a lot. The condo has a bit of age to it, but this isn't critical for us as we don't spend a lot of time in the condo. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the lanai looking at the gardens and the ocean, and really enjoyed the spaciousness of the condo, having two floors, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. Kamaole Sands is also at the very southern end of Kihei, providing excellent access to all of the great beaches in Wailea. We'll definitely be back!"

  • Clean, nice, homey!

"We had a great time in Kihei and Kamaole Sands. The property was very nice. Pool had plenty of chairs, pool never really got over crowded, and there was a snack bar and hot tubs too. Also several grill areas if you want to cook in. The unit was clean and had everything you could want. Opening the doors and letting the ocean breeze come in was awesome. Not really much of a ocean view but it was still nice. Owners were very nice/responsive to questions. The beach across the street was awesome for snorkeling (good fish & turtles too). And don't miss the AHIHI reserve for snorkeling about 15 min down the road. (awesome both days we went!) Cafe O'lei is a must for lunch or dinner(mahi mahi any style great). Pizza Madness about 2.5miles north of KS is delish! Ohanas fish & chips was very good but don't get the grilled shrimp app. Freds mexican was good. Booked Molokini snorkel on the Quick Silver through the concierge....staff was great, food was great, snorkeling great, turtle town was ok-saw some small turtles but was hoping for more. Worth $10 to rent wetsuit if you tend to get cold & even though we didn't rent a camera for $40 the people who did got some great underwater shots. Beer and mai tais $2 each..cheapest drinks we had all week. Dinner cruise on Maui Princess...mahi mahi and salad were great. You sit at a table with another couple so you tend to not get up and enjoy the sunset if they are nice and you are talking and I didn't see any dancing which I kinda wanted since it was our 25th anniversary. If you get a late flight out there is a place you can shower before you leave. Poured rain the day we did the road to Hana so not our best day but still got some nice pics from car window of a few waterfalls. Definitely not for the weak stomach. We drove all the way around through the rough roads after you get to Hana bay. It is 3 hours back to KS and rough and nerve racking but fun in a convertible if not raining. Great time in Maui!"
