  • Clean and Neat

"I want to thank Bill and Deloris for allowing me to stay in their nice condo unit. I spent eight nights and could have easily spent more. Their condo was comfortably furnished in the living area and the bedroom. I had everything I needed and more. The kitchen had everything you would need including storage containers and storage bags. The living area had a tropical feel with a couch, recliner and a chase lounge chair on the lanai. I read three books there and on the beach which is a short walk down the entrance road. Speaking of the beach there were nice beach chairs and towels for use, I swam and snorkeled every day finding some of the best beaches right there in front of Kihei Akahi. It was quite warm during my visit but I never used the air-conditioning unit as the cool evening breezes would blow through the unit Thanks again, Eric"

  • Location and Amenities Awesome!

"This condo was perfect for our vacation needs. It was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need - beach chairs with handy carry strap, coolers, boogie boards, laundry and dish detergent, and a smattering of cooking spices. The kitchen was very well stocked, and helped for a budget friendly stay (and also when we were tired of eating out!). The location was our favorite on the island, and we stayed in Hana, Kaanapail and Napili also on this trip. My 11 year old son rated this place the highest over our fancy hotel in Kaanapali, because he said there was so much variety of things to do here. He liked the park across the way, the beach across the way for boogie boarding, and being able to walk to so many things. Kihei is great because it's centrally located, and you can get to everywhere from here. The beach out front was perfect for trying out paddle boarding and for surf lessons. Roll out of bed and walk on over! We have not been in Kihei for a while and were surprised to see all of the new restaurants (plus old favorites). There are a ton of inexpensive (for Hawaii) options nearby that were really good and did not break the budget. This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to get away from all of the artificial "Hawaii" in Kaanapali and enjoy the real thing."

  • Beautiful View

"This was the perfect location, and very clean. The decor and furnishing were nice but alittle worn and dated. However we were told that it will be remodeled by next year. It has easy access to the beach and pool for families with children. It was nice to have the park next door. Restaurants, quick shopping and watersport/moped rentals were literally right across the street. The rental fee for snorkels, fins, masks and mopeds were all very feesable. All said and done we do like the building, love the groundfloor units and would book again. The service we recieved from ALi'i was great. Thank you for a wonderful vacation."

  • Maui family fun

"Our Maui vacation was great basing out of the Royal Mauian. Ali'i Resorts Staff welcomed us at the room and reviewed everything. They followed up the next day asking if we needed anything or had any questions. Furiture was very cofortable, kitchen was complete with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and small appliances. Beds were firm and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. There was one blow dryer only and it needed replacing. Eating breakfast or lunch on the lanai was relaxing. Ate dinners out. The pool was small but refreshing, lounging at the ocean on a well kept grassy area was nice. Watching sea turtles playing in the rocky waters edge from your lounge chair was outstanding. Snorkeling in front of the Royal Mauian was perfect with the area being a favorite area for the fish and turtles. Even saw a stingray. Entry into the unit was by key pad code. Very convenient, but take care to have one person in the room during pack up, as the code gets cut off. We were locked out before checkout time, and had to call Ali'i to get it. Minor issue but annoying at the end of a great trip. I recommend this resort to anyone, and working with Ali'i was great."
