  • Great view!

"Excellent view of the ocean, beach and mountain. Roof top grill and patio area were great for sunset dinners. No sunset from the unit's lanai, but that kept it much cooler. January is a great time for whale watching. There were lots of large turtles near shore, and, in fact, two came onto the beach to lay their eggs. Snorkeling available from the beaches on either side of the condo. Snorkel rentals across the street. Golf and bird watching near-by (need a car). This condo was very nice except for living room furniture which was very uncomfortable to sit on for watching a little tv in the evening. That was the main reason this unit didn't get 5 starts."

  • This property was excellent! Located right in the middle of restaurants and beaches!

"I was very impressed with this place. We walked to shops and restaurants and a great little beach right across the street. It was over all a great experience and I would stay there again!"

  • Our new favorite vacation home

"My husband and I just returned from our stay in this wonderful condo on Kamaole Beach II. We've been to Maui several times and stayed at expensive hotels but we enjoyed the quiet beauty of this place even more than the Grand Wailea! The unit is on the 4th floor with an amazing view of the ocean. Morning's and evenings were spent on the balcony watching the whales, turtles and the beautiful sunsets. The location of this condo is a real bonus. Everything you need from groceries, restaurants, nail salon, even an ice cream shop is within walking distance. Laurie was wonderful to work with too! We almost didn't write a review because if too many people to know how wonderful this condo is it will be harder to book next time :) We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family and are hoping to return again soon."

  • Paradise

"My 10 year old daughter and I stayed here in August 2006. The area is perfect. It's close to Wailea, but doesn't have the Wailea price tag. We walked down there in about 15 minutes. We loved the unit it had everything we needed including a wonderfully stocked kitchen with all necessary cooking utensils. We cooked all our breakfast and lunches at the condo. They had umbrellas and beach chairs and boogie boards and of course beachtowels, everything you need for the beach. The beds/linens were nice. The pictures are somewhat deceptive because the unit isn't on the ocean, in the end it didn't bother us because it was still only a 30 second walk to the ocean. This is my third time to Maui, the other two times I stayed in Kaanapali. This area is so much better! Wonderful beach, calmer ocean. While this is a review for 201. Any oddly numbered units face the italian restaurant next door, so you smell garlic in the evening. The restaurant is right on the ocean, so the units closer to the ocean will smell it more. Martha, the property manager was great. She organized a kayak/snorkeling trip for us and had great recommendations for dinner (5 palms next door-really good). I will be back."
