  • Wonderful location on the best beach on Maui

"My wife and I have been visiting Maui regularly for over 40 years and have been fond of the Kihei area and Kameole beaches over those years. This year we brought along my cousin and his wife for their 1st ever visit to Hawaii. The first 3 days were spent in Honolulu so we could all visit Pearl Harbor, but then down to Maui for a week of relaxation and the real Hawaii experience. We love Kam 1 beach and have stayed at the Royal Mauian once before; we chose it because of its unbeatable proximity to the ocean...about 50 feet! Since we had first timers along this time we did some typically tourist-like things such as the Old Lahaina Luau (expensive but quite good food and entertainment), Haleakala Crater, Mama's Fish House (also expensive but SO worth it!). We also took them to our favorite Maui entertainer Willie K at Mulligan's on the Blue in Wailai; never disappointing. Alii Resorts was wonderful with their communications throughout the booking process; we called them upon our early arrival in Kahului and they gave us an estimated time to meet them at the condo and advised that they would call us on our cell phone. This worked out very well for us as we had a bite to eat and did a bit of shopping and exploring. We met the Alii Resorts representative at the unit and she explained everything to us before leaving. The unit was well equipped with starter supplies which actually got us through the week (TP, soap, laundry and dishwasher detergent, trash bags, etc.). The view from the lanai was wonderful along with the convenient access to the beach. The 2 bedroom unit had 3 TV's all of which had balky remotes, the front door was a bit hard to close but these are really just nits...it's Hawaii and we did not need the TV to entertain us! The Royal Mauian is the best location to enjoy an oceanside experience in Hawaii and we certainly did."

  • Clean, organized and great location

"Stayed on this property recently with two more friends and we just LOVED it! Everything was very clean, practical and organized. Bed was very comfortable and the sofa bed was surprisingly even more comfortable and big! Location is also great, right across the beach and close to restaurants, bars, supermarket, stores... Pool and parking was also very convenient. Definitely recommend and cant wait to come back!"

  • The perfect place for our holiday in Kihei, Maui

"My wife and I, our daughter and her husband and our two grandchildren rented this condo for 7 days in March, 2016. The condo was exactly as described and met all our needs. The ground floor location is just perfect, especially with two young children and the proximity to the pool and the beach is very convenient. There is a hedge that provides privacy on the lanai(s) and just on the other side of the hedge there are beautifully manicured grounds for playing in the sunshine. The condo is extremely well equipped and includes a couple of boogie boards as well as a few sand toys. We really enjoyed our trip to Maui and the condo we stayed in was perfect. • A perfect place for our first (and future) trips to Maui

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was ideally located (near shops, restaurants and, most importantly, beaches with lifeguards) and well stocked, very clean and very nice. It was the perfect home-away-from-home for our family of four. The main road separating the condo from Kama'ole Beach I can get loud, but this wasn't a big issue. Many birds (grey francolins, zebra doves, etc.) make the condo grounds their home. The pool is small but nice. The grounds themselves were pretty and well maintained. We really appreciated having access to all the beach gear (umbrellas, chairs, snorkels, towels, etc.). Our one suggestion: a clothes line for the downstairs bathroom shower as towels and wet clothing aren't allowed on the lanai. Mahalo!"
