"We stayed in Chuck's property from 7/14/16-7/25/16. We cannot say enough good things about his property! The location was perfect for us since it was centralized to everywhere we had planned to go. Being right across the street from Kam II Beach, meant that my son and I could get up at dawn to surf, and then be showered and ready for the day's activities by the time the rest of the family would get up. Also after sightseeing and doing activities, we would have time to walk across the street again to swim and catch the sunset. The property itself was perfect for our family of four. Chuck was great at recommending lots of restaurants and places to see. Towards the last few days of our stay, there was a Typhoon that had made it's way to the island. We ended up having to extend our stay, and Chuck was very flexible at accommodating us! When we return to Maui, we will definitely request to stay at Chuck's property again."

"Another great holiday at Paul and Kayoko's Maui Vista condo.
Rightly situated on top floor and corner of building 1 facing the ocean, you can't get any better than that.
Not to mention all of the amenities, supplies and beach items in the condo, it's like a home away from home in the best location in Kihei as for as we are concerned.
I believed this past June was at or 6th time in this condo and we always love it.
Access to the best beach in Kihei, Charley Young Beach, is literally a 3 minute walk from the condo.
Best beach for snorkeling around and offers shaded area before joining Kam 1.
Close walk to shopping, groceries and restaurants and with a fully equipped kitchen in the condo, what else do you want for your holidays.
Always clean and tidy with ceiling fans in every room and 2 A/Cs, its always been a comfortable place that we call our home away from home most years in May or June.
Affordable, clean, quiet and definitely coming back again next year."

the condo was very clean,the furniture and kitcgen very good,the view so amazing!the only is all the ten days,is the near condo C-604 was renovated and the noise from hammering,drilling and tools are all day long,was unfortunately...i would take the condo again..."

"I reread the amenities for this unit and it mentions a DVD player and a CD player. The CD player was present but not the DVD player. It wasn't a big deal to me since I didn't have any videos to watch. There are some minor reasons for why I gave a 4-star rating rather than 5-stars: a) I was greeted with a bathroom floor that was flooded due to the tenants in the upstairs units having used high-sudsing detergent for their laundry. Apparently, the drainage pipes are all shared and the ground floor unit reaps the result. While the water was clean, I was unhappy having to mop up the floor for half an hour before actually settling into my vacation. Matthew, the owner, contacted the Home Owners Association to remind the upstairs tenants to be mindful of their laundry. There was no more flooding for the rest of my short stay, but I was always apprehensive stepping into the bathroom; b) I thought it ironic that a microwave oven was available for use but all the dinnerware was made of melamine, which is a material that is NOT microwave safe; but there are a few bowls and pyrex dishes in the cupboards under the microwave that are safe to use in the microwave oven. I ended up buying some paper plates. Otherwise, the rental unit was exactly as described.
With that disclosure out of the way, I can definitely say that I enjoyed my time in that unit and that I wished I could've enjoyed it for longer. While the patio is situated within yards/meters away from the roadway, traffic noise was hardly noticeable with the patio door closed. And although there is a walkway that passes along the patio to the pool and to the road, pedestrian traffic was minimal. The condo's location couldn't be more convenient to the beaches and shops/restaurants. I didn't need to bring along any valuables, car keys or even the key to the unit when going to the beach. Oh, the key to the unit also has a Maika'i Card that is used for some savings at the nearby Foodland grocery store. The BBQ grills, tennis court, and pool were steps away from the unit. There was always ample parking near the unit at all times.
The cost of the rental was an excellent value, setting up payments and the rental agreement with Matthew was easy, and he was available to help deal with the flooding issue. All in all I had a great time here and would not hesitate returning."
