  • Excellent Location and Accomodations

"It was our first time in Maui and I was looking for a place where we could play in the water, snorkel and be within walking distance of restaurants/stores, entertainment, etc.. Essentially a place where we could relax and feel on vacation. This property at Kamaole Nalu offered everything we were looking and we are happy to report that it exceeded our expectations. The pictures displayed on VRBO site about the property are accurate. The view setting is absolutely stunning and we already miss sitting on the beach in the evenings sipping on the glass of wine and listening to the waves. The property can easily accommodate a family of 4 and it comes furnished with everything a household needs. The Ali Resorts staff is extremely helpful and they take excellent care of the grounds and tenants. Everything is within walking distance. Depending on preference, you have a choice between going out and searching for entertainment or staying indoors. We've done both and each choice is just as fun. During our 2 weeks stay, my teenage sons took full advantage of the beach and swimming pool. Being part of the property grounds, it made it really easy for them to snorkel and watch turtles directly from our beach. Overall we all had an excellent time and can't wait to go back."

  • Love This Place Perfect Condo Wonderful Owners

"Aloha! This was our second visit to Maui and our second visit to this amazing Condo! The condo is a perfect size .Very clean ,very comfortable and has everything you need whether it be a day at the beach with your boogie board and beach umbrella or staying home to cook in the well equipped kitchen or BBQ at the lovely pool! The bed is so comfortable we had the best sleep after our busy days exploring the island. Our hosts of this condo were exceptionally attentive and provide all the info you need and are quick to respond to all your questions and needs. The location is perfect just a short stroll down the driveway to the beach and close to many good restaurants. We highly recommend Cafe o Lei which is just a short walk up the street and Fred's which is right next door. The grounds are kept beautiful and the pool is great!! We made a couple of trips to Lahaina and Kaanapali don't forget to visit Leoda's Pie place on your way to Lahaina (great Lime Pie). We visited Hookipa Beach where we watched the surfing and at sunset watched the Sea Turtles come up to rest on the beach (Amazing!!) There are just too many things to do I wouldn't have enough room to write. We love your Condo Drew and Amelia Thankyou for being such gracious hosts. This is our home away from home in Kihei 😊"

  • Soo awsome we cried when we left...

"OK, if this condo is available and you're looking for a 1br with an AMAZING ocean view just steps from world-class beaches in Kihei in a fantastically remolded condo with a terrific it NOW before someone else does!! For starters, the owner Anita is a joy to work with during all phases of planning, payment, questions, and follow-up, and helped us out not only with the condo but with our trip overall. The condo itself...even nicer than the pictures, one of the classiest and most comfortable condos I've ever been in (vacation rental or otherwise). Felt like my dream condo. The sunset we watched from the lanai on our last night blew away the photos, and my girlfriend and I agreed it was different but easily equal to the sunset we'd seen on top of Haleakala the previous kidding! Equipped as if we lived there in terms of beach stuffs (mats, chairs), kitchen stuff, etc. The complex is nice: pool was good, and the roof deck awesome (our 2nd night we grilled on one of the 2 amazing gas Weber grills and were the only ones on the roof deck). Parking was easy. I can't overstate just how fantastic the condo is, it felt more like we were staying in a friends home than a vacation rental. The decision of where to stay in Maui for some/all of a vacation is too wide to cover here, but with this my 3rd stay in South Kihei' (which I love for central location, walk to stores, and swimmibility), a few notes about this exact location: DIRECTLY across the street from Kam I beach, a beautiful, long, friendly swimming/sunning beach. I went barefoot from condo <--> beach, it's really just a few hundred feet down a sidewalk then across the road. Less than a mile north is Three's Bar/Grill (banana/mac pancakes!) Paia Fish Market, Foodland, and "The Triangle" where the younger folks dance to dj's (the Tiki bar is great too). Moreso, ABC Store is about 500 ft north of the condo, and 2-3 minutes south is a great health food store, da Kitchen Express (affordable huge lunches), Cafe O'Lei (nicer dinners and food equal to Wailea places but cheaper), a Whalers store and other shops. I can't understate how great is is to not have to jump in the car all the time. I honestly can't say enough good things about this condo, the owner, or the location...already dreaming of our next stay!!!"

  • Great unit is a great location!

"We always stay in the Maui KBR complex when we visit Maui. This unit was excellent! It had every cooking amenity we needed, comfortable beds, easy to connect to internet, washer/dryer, A/C (when needed), etc. The rooftop bbq is a fun place to make dinner while taking in amazing views of the Muai coastline and beautiful sunsets. Kamaole Beach I is directly across the street with beautiful sand and had calm enough surf that going in and out of the water wasn't a challenge (I'm sure it can get rough at times but has always been 'swimmable' on our visits). We actually saw sea turtle swim within reach a couple of times while standing in the surf. There are shops across the street from MKBR and we enjoyed both Maui Tacos and the Fish 'n Chips place. Heading one block further south there are lots of fun little shops and a place for basic groceries (as well as an ABC store just north of the complex). Booking, paying and coordinating with Tom was super simple and the provided documentation for the unit and 'things to do' are spot on. I'll definitely book this unit for future trips if it is available. Mark"
