  • Another amazing stay in 606!

"This was our second trip to Maui and we chose to bring our two teen daughters this time. They were comfortable on the new pull-out couch. If you are considering a trip to Maui I promise you will not be disappointed with this condo and beach. We've visited almost every beach on Maui now and this is still my favorite. It's just a great all-around beach. You can boogie board, paddle board, snorkel, or just read a book while relaxing under a tree. I saw quite a few sea turtles and we saw whales this time! Imagine sitting on your lanai and seeing a whale. It's amazing! There are also amenities right across the street. We discovered Da Kitchen this time which was great. We also love 808 Deli. The condo itself has everything you'd need. I appreciate that there are chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas in the condo. I can't imagine having to rent those. The condo is always clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. August sent us a flower arrangement this time which was very beautiful. I like Kihei because it's more relaxed and less busy than Lahaina. We usually go to Lahaina for the day and are always happy to get back to Kihei. We did do the Old Lahaina Luau which we really liked and our teen daughters thought was fun. Did I mention the sunsets? :) I might suggest that you get one more blanket for the pull-out couch because we had one night where it was a little chilly and the blanket was pretty small. But seriously you will not be disappointed if you stay here. Thanks again August. I have a feeling we'll be back...again."

  • Lots of space and a great location!

"We really enjoyed our stay and it was great dealing with Zapher. We've stayed at the Kihei Ali Kai before and keep returning because we love the location so close to Kamole One Beach as well as lots of awesome restaurants and amenities. The condo is spacious and worked great for our family. We loved the open plan and high ceilings in the living room, there is some views out to the ocean so we could always tell how strong the trade winds were. The lanai had great sun in the afternoon and felt very private - we loved the swing (so did the baby who had his morning nap out there in the shade everyday!). There were 3 air conditioners but the afternoon window was great and kept the condo nice and cool. We used a number of the amenities in the condo including the full size washer and dryer (very handy!), DVD player (rented movies from REDBOX at Foodland for $1.50!), the shampoo and conditioner that was supplied (saved room in our suitcase, one less thing to pack!), the boogie boards, the snorkel fins and the beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. There were lots of other things including: umbrella, sand toys, floaties, and much more. We loved the pool and hot tub and never found it crowded, most days we had it all to ourselves. We BBQ'd a number of evenings, the BBQ's were always clean and there was some nice seating to enjoy while the meat was cooking. The complex also has some nice looking tennis courts but we never used them. Zapher was great to deal with, quick to reply and provided easy instructions. We can't wait to come back to Maui soon!"

  • Well-stocked and comfortable accommodations

"Jonathan's home was even more beautifully decorated than the photos in the listing suggest, as other guests have noted. The backyard was a slice of paradise in the larger slice of paradise that is Maui. The home was furnished with everything we needed and more. The kitchen utilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained. We had paper towels, local coffee, etc. There were a ton of bikes to choose from, and Jonathan was always available if you needed him. The location was perfect for us to explore the whole island. Oh, and if Jonathan recommends a restaurant, you are stupid not to go. Also, if you find that you are addicted to AC on the mainland, go ahead and break the habit and open the windows as Jonathan suggests. It really is cooler. Thanks, Jonathan, for a wonderful stay! You are an awesome host."

  • Nice unit and good location

"Very nice unit in a great location. Enjoyed having breakfast or watching the sunset on the lanai. The unit was very well equipped only thing missing was a kettle, problem has been solved, we bought one and left it behind. Have stayed at the Maui Vista before in different units and this one was the best furnished and equipped. A great unit for a couple to stay in. It has one bedroom and no sofa bed. Did see an airbed in the closet that could be used. It would be nice if the calendar was kept up to date by the owner so it would make it easier to see when the unit was available. Would defiantly consider booking this unit again."
