  • Good. Convenient location. Seemed quiet even though close to busy street.

"Gardens and pool always lovely and well maintained. Kudos to the maintenance man. Condo nicely furnished and plenty of kitchen equipment, linens etc. Sofa/futon very uncomfortable for sitting. Toilet somewhat loose on the floor. Bathroom very small. However, overall we we were comfortable and had what we needed for a nice stay."

  • We have a lovely stay!

"We stayed 10 nights here with our daughter and her two sons, and everything went perfectly. The condo is well- outfitted with everything you could possibly need, and more! The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is beautiful and includes plenty of dishes, pots and pans, utensils, and even spices. Our grandsons loved the toys and videos, and we really appreciated having the beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, and snorkel gear right there! Oh, and the beach towels, too -- I brought a couple just in case, but Judy has lots of them there already. Just wash them and put them back when you're finished with them. The property itself is lovely, and this unit is in a quiet building, close to the pool. There are two lanais with a great view of the pool area and a side view of the beach. It was very hot and muggy at times during our trip, so the bedroom air conditioning really was a blessing! This is a great place for families. Our little guys loved it and the adults did, too. I highly recommend this property and really thank Judy for her hospitality!"

  • Kihei Surfside

"My wife and I enjoyed our honeymoon stay at Kihei Surfside so much, we returned 7 years later for another vacation. I'm wondering why we waited so long! I'll start with the only downside: there's no A/C in this building. On days when the winds are blowing in off the water, this isn't that much of a problem. But when the air is still and hot, opening windows/doors at opposite ends of the unit doesn't do much good, and one begins to baste in his/her own juices. Other than that, there is no downside. In our experience, Kihei tends to cool down at night enough to get a good night's rest, and if you're vacationing on Maui, what're you doing in your room during the day anyway - go sightsee, go lay on the beach, go diving, etc... ! Not to say that the rooms are anything but comfy and NICE. The ocean view smacks you in the face as soon as you open the door - which as far as I'm concerned is the #1 draw of the whole building. Units farther to the left (as you face the front of the building) are of course more desirable due to their proximity to the water. IF you can, go for lower numbered units on each floor (101, 201, 301 instead of 115, 215, 315) since you'll be closer to the water and the ocean will fill more of your view. That having been said, give me the ground floor unit farthest from the water, and I'd not complain, and you're an ungrateful slob that can't be satisfied if you'd complain. Both the units we've stayed in have been tastefully appointed - very stylish and inviting. Now that I've said all this, please disregard it: if Kihei Surfside gets too popular, there won't be any availability when we next want to stay there."

  • Clean place with a fantastic location!

"Geri's condo was a great find! It was clean with a well-stocked kitchen to prepare meals. The location was ideal and next door to a shopping plaza with great coffee, bakery, fish tacos, and gelato. Kamaole Beach 1 is a beautiful beach and only a few minutes walk away too. You could easily stay here for days without a need for a car as there are also many restaurants, shops, and grocery stores within blocks. Thank you Geri for accommodating us with our late flight. It was a pleasure staying there. Mahalo!"
