  • awesome location, awesome place!

"This was our first time staying in KKN 142 and it was absolutely perfect, would definitely stay here again. The unit has everything you need to be comfortable, plenty of beach gear (coolers, comfy beach chains, umbrellas, sandcastle stuff, boogie boards, beach towels, bamboo mats, even extra sun screen and aloe!). The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils you could possibly need. Comfortable king size bed with a large closet for stowing away your luggage and hanging up clothes. There were a lot of extra towels in the closet as well, which we appreciated. Everything was sparkling clean, Hope does a wonderful job of keeping the place tidy for guests. Hope was very helpful to us as we actually locked ourselves out of the unit by accident when we arrived--we did not realize the front door locks automatically upon closing, and we forgot to take the keys back outside with us when we went to grab luggage from the car. It was after-hours so the office was closed, but she was able to make some phone calls to get the security person on-site to find us and let us in. Hope really does a great job of making you feel welcome and at home-she was sweet enough to bring us some local treats which was very thoughtful. The location was very convenient too, not too far from the air port, but also reasonable driving distance to all the other major areas of the island. Since it's a first floor unit you don't have to hike up a bunch of stairs with your luggage. Having a GOOD beach across the street is amazing, and to top it all off you can see the sun set there every evening. We did a lot of exploring around the island and found that the beaches in Kihei were nicer than those in Lahaina, which seemed to be smaller and PACKED with tourists. Location is also good for shopping and restaurants - there were many restaurants within walking distance that were excellent."

  • Great location, fantastic bang for the buck

"This is a great, recently updated condo. My family and I stayed here for two weeks in July 2016. The condo has been renovated in the last few years and is nicely kept. The digital entertainment is also a nice to have. After spending the day at the beach and pool, it was great for the kids to veg out. The condo is well equipped with everything you’d expect in the kitchen. Michael the owner is extremely attentive. He emailed and called our first night when I had a few questions. He also checked in once or twice throughout our stay. It’s really nice to have an owner who genuinely cares that you’re enjoying your stay. The exterior of the condo looks a bit dated, but it makes up for it with nicely kept grounds and a fantastic pool. The pool also appears to have been renovated in the last few years. Very nice, quiet space to enjoy with the family. The condo is ground level, with the pool just a few steps from the back door. I’ve heard from the owner that the barbecues will also soon be updated. The complex isn’t too large, which is nice; never felt crowded. The location is hard to beat. You’re within walking distance of a convenience store, restaurants, and a few beaches. By car you’re only minutes from more, beautiful beaches, more restaurants, and grocery stores. Kihei has some of the best beaches on the island and a lot of them. Having stayed for two weeks, we visited a new beach every day; all within ~25 minutes of the condo. With location and amenities, the low cost of this condo makes it a solid gold value. I’ve seen other condos without things like a pool that cost up to twice as much as this place. And for that, I would both stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. Special thanks to the owner for sharing his condo with us!"

  • Pineapple Suite

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 nights in the suite. Perfect location, great BBQ and everything you would want in a home away from home. The owners and property manager are very accommodating and easy to deal with. Would definitely stay there again."

  • Great location and excellent host!

"We're a family of three and we chose this condo primarily on the price, location and last minute availability for the season (late Aug). Jeremy was very quick to respond and very helpful, pro-active and friendly, helping us with tips for figuring out island logistics, food shopping and so on. The condo was great for our needs. A short walk to the beach (1 minute) and convenient for everything. We''ve grown very fond of Kam 2 beach over all the others. :-) The Kihei Kai Nani complex (or whatever you call it) was helpful (main office) and their pool was a real plus for our son, who learned to get comfortable there and had way more fun in the ocean as a result. The pool was never crowded and everyone friendly. The unit was in great shape, good amenities for the price, and a comfortable bed. No view of the ocean, but with it so close by, it doesn't really matter. There were lots of summer reading books, board games for our little guy, and an acoustic guitar, which was a really nice surprise. With both doors open in the late afternoon or evening, a nice cool breeze kept us comfortable. We rarely used the air con. If you're looking for food shopping within walking distance, we'd recommend the organic food store, which actually had pretty reasonable prices called Half Moon or something like that, on South Kihei Road, just a block or two up. Best food of the trip within walking distance was Cafe O Lei for dinner. Worst was Bistro 808 for breakfast, give that a pass. The beaches are beautiful and an early morning trip before the wind picks up is key. We saw lots of turtles in the water right from shore, and this beach seemed fairly tame for the season (Aug/Sept) for swimming as we did laps of it in the morning and even in the late afternoon. We'll definitely book again! Thanks very much for welcoming us into your condo, Jeremy. Mahalo."
