  • Comfortable Condo

"We stayed in this condo in August of 2016. Turned out to be a very warm week so we used the a/c and all available fans. Could not figure out how to get the ceiling fan/light in the loft to work but with 2 standing fans we managed to stay cool enough to sleep. Also the kitchen overhead light didn't seem to work but we didn't really cook so it didn't matter too much. Having a washer and dryer was very useful in keeping our [supplied] beach towels fresh. We appreciated the beach chairs (well, 2 of them anyway, the other too were too low to be comfortable) and boogie boards and left them in our car trunk for the week, which was very convenient. Didn't see any snorkels or masks so we rented. Also, the cooler really smells so we bought a styro one and left it in the closet for others to use. The tv cabinet is not very functional as the doors don't open far enough for more than 3 people to watch tv. But we weren't there to watch tv so that was fine. The kitchen was more than adequate for our use. The property is centrally located and was very convenient for all of our excursions. It is close to a grocery store and rental shops as well as restaurants. The beach is minutes away. The condo was perfect for 4 adults and uniquely decorated in all things Hawaiian! The property in general is quiet, safe and well maintained. The birds woke us in the mornings. They have a nest right in the wall of the lanai (looks like they are causing some damage). One morning I counted 7 birds hanging onto the lanai wall! Overall, I liked this condo and would recommend it."

  • Grandmother and 17 yr. old grandaughter

"The condo unit was great, clean , bright , updated and air conditioned. Loved the location as was convenient and many things within walking distance. It was a very safe feeling set of condos and so nice to have a swimming pool. The owners were great... Informative and accommodating. The people staying there more long term were helpful. Would love to go back again."

  • Experience Living in Paradise in one of the very best condos in the complex

"We arrived on a late flight and found the condo very easily. Upon opening the door we felt welcomed like staying at a favorite relative's special vacation retreat. This is no ordinary condo. It is lovingly renovated to feel like a tropical home. Beautiful decore, high quality furnishings with attention to the smallest detail. Living area opens out onto a lanai where you can spend hours just lounging, or eating a meal while watching the ocean. It is just off the roadway but there is no noise whatsoever. The kitchen is adjacent to the living room and has every convenience you could want or need, very well stocked. The bedroom was spacious with ample storage for your clothing. The bathroom is small but again the decore makes it seem much larger. Joanne and Keith have provided everything you need for the beach or touring around the island (coolers, beach chairs, oversized beach towels, boogie boards and more). We enjoyed the beach chairs so much we bought some for our own use when we arrived home. Free parking is provided at their huge lot. Because the building is constructed on a slight rise it provides for a wonderfulartial view of the ocean. There is great air conditioning and fans but the trade winds kept us cool most days. It is a very quiet and safe condo complex. Keith and Joanne provided so many great ideas for places to visit and eat and as a result we saw things that we never would have otherwise, e.g. the turtles coming in from the ocean for the night at Ho'okipa Beach park (not to be missed). Being central in Kihei with a quick access to the highway was perfect for getting around to the other areas of Maui. We did have a vehicle for our 2 week stay however there is limited bus service at the end of the street. We found the ABC Store had a terrific deli for the times we just didn't want to cook or eat out. Some excellent restaurants near by. However if you are used to Moose's the food quality and service is not up to its previous standards but Happy Hour is still a great value. Fred's has a great fun atmosphere and is busy for breakfast and dinner each night. 808 Bistro has a delicious small menu with early bird pricing. Lots of shopping nearby. We cannot wait for our next trip to Maui and hope to be able to again book this fabulous tropical home in paradise!"

  • Kihei Akahi

"This is such a great spot central to restaurants, shops and of course Kamaole Beach! The accommodations were spotless in the condo and on the property, when we weren't at the beach we definitely used one of the 2 pools. We found the drives to other beaches seamless, Kihei has lots of beaches very close by both north and south. Getting up to Kaanapali was a great drive, did this one a couple times, the road to Hana was winding but worth it - all of our excursions from and in Kihei were great and we never felt like we were too far from anything. The condo for us worked out perfectly, all the amenities we needed were there when we felt like cooking for ourselves. Shortly after getting settled in the condo we felt very much at home and throughout our stay the topic of a return visit occurred more than once. Can't wait to visit again, thank you for the perfect stay!"
