Recent Kihei Beach Condominiums reviews

  • Perfect Beachfront Location.

"We really enjoyed our month at KBR. Condo 405 is spacious and comfortable, and it was nice to have two updated bathrooms. The kitchen is compact but had what we needed to make almost all of our meals in the condo, taking advantage of the farmer's market across the street for veggies (right beside the handy ABC store), and the Safeway in Kihei, which had very good quality meat, fish, produce and everything else we needed. We loved the beach, which was perfect for stand up paddling, long walks, and refreshing swims--all right in front of our building (the heated pool was nice too). We brought our snorkel gear out with us when we paddled, and found some good nearby spots to jump in and explore the coral reefs--lots of turtles and fish to see. The location is very central--probably the most convenient place to stay if you want to explore different areas on the Island. We enjoyed Paia, checked out beaches in Makena, and spent some time around Lahaina--easy and quick to get to all of them. The management company, Ali'i Resorts, was great to deal with--responsive, friendly and professional. Reservation, payment and check in could not have been easier, and their e-mails provided all the information I needed. We are definitely coming back."

  • Amazing Ocean Front Condo

"We just finished a 10 day stay at this condo and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting an ocean front condo in Kihei. It was absolutely beautiful and everything was as described. The condo has been recently updated and the grounds were well maintained. The complex was family friendly and we had a fun time at the pool and beach. It was convenient to get to all the restaurants in Kihei and we loved the bakery and shaved ice located across from the complex. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us."

  • A wonderful stay!

"I stayed here with my husband and two small kids (ages 2 and 4). Ali'i resort was so friendly during the booking process on the phone and replied very quickly through email as well. I called them a few times before our visit to confirm some things and ask some questions and they were always very helpful and friendly. When we arrived and our wifi wasn't working, Ali'i sent someone to our unit that day to look and see if they can fix it. Also, on our last day, while I was putting dishes away, I broke 3 bowls! I felt horrible and called the management company to let them know and they were happy that we were honest and didn't charge us! I was so impressed by this. As mentioned by pretty much every review, the location is fantastic! You are right on the beach. It's one thing to see the pictures online and another to be there. It's absolutely breathtaking! We loved how private and quiet the beach felt. It was ideal for us with the kids. The patio was very private and had such an incredible view of the beach. The only complaint about the patio is that we wish there were more chairs and that the ones they had were nicer and more comfy. For the beach, the unit includes three beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler which was helpful. We ended up going to the store when we got there to buy other supplies to help us with the kids, buckets and shovels and other beach toys. One thing my husband and I kept saying was how frustrating it was that there weren't any umbrellas for us to use. You're expected to either rent them or buy them. We just wish the unit came with one. We loved how central the resort was from other areas on the island, it made doing day trips a breeze. We rented a crib from a baby rental company for our youngest. We gave the children the one bedroom and my husband and I slept on the sofa bed. Although the sound of crashing waves was the perfect white noise at night, the couch was very, very uncomfortable. It felt like springs were poking out at us and we both had bad neck and back pain by the end of our stay. If you don't want to wake up at 5am-ish, bring something to cover the window up with in the bedroom. The window was covered by a very flimsy and thin curtain that blocked out no sun and didn't close all the way. I noticed other units had nicer shutters or even blinds to help with this. It didn't matter for us though, we enjoyed being up before 6 with the kids watching the rowers in the early morning. Overall, great holiday!"

  • Beautiful Condo With Great View and Location

"My family (2 adults / 2 kids) really enjoyed our 7 day stay. Condo was nicely decorated, clean and stocked with all the necessities. The location was perfect. Easy access to all main areas, but quiet for the evenings. Across the street is a friendly fruit market, ABC store, bakery, and shaved ice stand for quick needs. Would recommend this condo for anybody in Maui!"
