  • What a view!

""What a view!", the 1st thing we said when walking in the door, amazed at the blue of the ocean & the white sandy beach that stretched for miles. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch & supper on the balcony as we scanned the ocean, protected from occasional wind & a bit of rain. No whales at this time of year, but saw the sea turtle's head popping up occasionally as it swam in the waters near the condo! We loved having beach chairs, noodles & a cooler provided - a definite plus for us as we prefer to be on the beach & playing in the waves. Very well equipped condo & lovely décor. Excellent contact with owner pre-trip & for a query during our stay. Would love to stay there again!"

  • Very lucky to find this Gem!

"Had booked a condo in south Kihei where We usually stay and two weeks after booking We were notified by the owner that the condo was in escrow. Decided to cancel and look elsewhere and somehow ended up looking in North Kihei and found Sugar Beach Resort. Wow, a beachfront condo for not much more! Loved this condo and location! Sugar Beach area is so quiet compared to South Kihei and the centralized location made Maui travel much easier. I definitely recommend this unit and Alii resorts are the best for Your stay! My only complaint is the stove which I think may have come over with the first Missionaries. The burners had a mind of their own so I would have to put My hand over them to find which one was working on a particular day. Other than that everything was perfect!! So nice cooking meals at the kitchen counter while looking out at the beautiful view!! Staying in and eating Our meals on the Lanai was more fun than going out! Oh yeah if You do go out don't miss the Willie K show at the King Kamehameha golf course. Great food, Great music!!! Also plan a morning paddle with the Maui outrigger canoe club down the beach, and be sure and rent SUP boards from the activity center right there at the resort. Can see beautiful coral and fish just a short paddle to the right of the Resort. Will definitely be back to Sugar beach!!"

  • 50th Anniversary celebration

"The condo was just as pictured & described. Privacy location, elevator, assigned parking nearby, beautiful Sugar Beach, groomed lawn & grounds, trade winds, and best of all...24/7 sound of ocean surf throughout condo. (No need for A/C, but is available.) The washer/dryer is a plus...no need to pack so much. This is the place to RELAX! Thanks, Larry, for gift basket and all the helpful info provided through email. Not one problem or issue came up in our 2-week stay! We went to Lahaina often, which is 18 miles away...therefore, 4 star rather than 5 star rating (for us). Mahalo..."

  • LOVED IT

"Super clean, well-stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation. Great location in proximity to the beach, pool and Kihei. The rooftop was an especially loved aspect as we watched the sun set over the ocean every night of our stay."
