  • Family getaway

"We've stayed here at the Kihei Sands Condos many times over the last 20 years, and this time was just as fantastic. We celebrated my in laws 60th anniversary, staying in three units. As always, the condos were clean and comfortable, the morning walks beautiful, and the staff were so nice and helpful. We loved the pineapple and flowers greeting us upon arrival, and the delicious toffee for the trip home. We highly recommend these condos, and will return again as soon as possible!"

  • Great Place for a Great Price!

"My husband and I, and our best friends rented this two bedroom, two bath condo for a week. My husband and I prefer the South side of the island because he is an avid snorkeler, and this place was an awesome deal. Within a fifteen minute drive (rate of speed approximately 30-45 mph) we were at the most beautiful beaches and best snorkel spots. The showers in the condo had great water pressure, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you might need. In addition to being close to Wailea and Makena, the condo is also conveniently located just 30 minutes from the fun town of Lahaina. The place was well stocked with every amenity that you could want, the grounds are lovely, the property sits on Sugar Beach which is a charming stretch of sand and sea, the atmosphere was quiet, and all of the other residents were very friendly. The owner Michael was always very responsive to my emails and text messages. When I asked him for beach chairs and an ice chest, those items were happily provided before I even arrived! When we come back to the island, this place will be my first choice - we had a great time, and we loved staying here."

  • Our 50th Anniversary Dream Come True

"When we were married 50 years ago, I made a promise to celebrate Our "Golden Anniversary" in Hawaii with her brother and two sisters (and their spouses) from Japan. Maui was the perfect location because of its beauty, scenery, sightseeing and adventure opportunities. The KOA Resort 2A was the perfect place for us all to stay. The 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms allowed us to be together but allowed us to have our privacy too. The spacious living room, dining area and lanai provided comfortable and relaxing areas to just talk, sing, laugh and enjoy being together after a busy day enjoying Maui. The location is perfect for day trips to most of the popular activities and close to many beaches and places to eat. Although eating out was great, we enjoyed cooking many of our meals together in the modern and well equipped kitchen at the resort. The guys prepared most of the meats on the BBQ and had time for male bonding. The only problem that we had was the washing machine stopped in the middle of the rinse cycle. This little "hiccup' was an opportunity in disguise. As my wife and her sisters were wringing out the laundry, it brought back many memories of their childhood in Japan. My wife being the oldest child helped their mother do the laundry by hand. We contacted Kelli and she had the repairman fix it the next day. Other than that little problem, everything was great. We plan to return to Maui and hopefully we can stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful time. Aloha"

  • Great House for family vacation

"This house was clean and beautiful. It had everything we needed. The beach was right across the way. I really appreciated the winds that blew each afternoon, like nature's air conditioning. The house had its own air conditioning which we only used for part of the day. The multiple ceiling fans did a great job keeping us cool too. The property was beautifully landscaped and well kept. We were lucky enough to get a couple of home grown coconuts from the gardener. Spacious rooms, lovely kitchen. Mike and Cecelia were wonderful hosts, easy to get a hold of and very caring. We would definitely recommend this home for a family vacation."
