  • Live Aloha Suite, No Ka Oi

"Just spent 2 weeks in the Live Aloha Suite. Condo was very clean, nicely decorated and furnished. The bed was very comfortable and location provided a spectacular view of the beach and grounds-picture taking from the condo was awesome ! This is my 8th rental at Sugar Beach Resort and this condo rates in the top 2. Since my last stay, services have improved -you can rent water sports equipment (i.e. paddle boards) on site at the office, as well as, book other activities. Beach is not crowded like other beaches on the island and one can enjoy running, walking, casually strolling on 5 miles of beach morning, noon, and early evening. It is relatively quiet property overall and grounds are immaculate. There is a small sandwich (Dina's Sand Witch) on site where you can have lunch or dinner, as well as, adult drinks. Customers are both visitors and locals with fun conversations and great service. Doug Sage is very responsive to inquiries and provides basic needs for renters. Live Aloha Suite and Sugar Beach is a great place for a relaxing vacation! FC, Northern California"

  • Well furnished and nice location

"Unit 120 is very nicely furnished and was more like staying in someone's home than a condo. We enjoyed walking on the beach (right in front of the lanai) and the grounds are well kept. The TV and electronics have been upgraded and internet worked well. The bedroom is a bit small and there is no place to put a suit case except on the floor, but that was not really an issue for two people. There is a nice dresser to unpack your things in if you prefer. There are lots of extras like beach chairs, ice chests, boogie boards, etc. The owners did a great job of providing pre-trip planning information."

  • Spectacular Sunsets and a whole lot more.

"Just returned after spending the month of January 2016 at the Koa Lagoon. The unit was clean and had everything we needed to make us comfortable for the month. The unit has a large lanai with a spectacular view, the sunsets every night were special and you can see whales from the lanai too(bring a good pair of binoculars). There is a nice beach in front of the building a short walk across a lawn which we would walk every. The grounds at the Kao Lagoon are well maintained and the pool area is never crowded. Kihea is the perfect location to be in Maui close to everything and a good starting point to discover this island. Overall the Koa Lagoon has everything you need and is a very good value for that perfect vacation in paradise."

  • Clean and comfortable in a beautiful setting

"I was attracted by the "non-smoking" in the title of the property and by the photographs of the kitchen. I was not disappointed. The condo was spotless, and the kitchen fully equipped and easy to work in. The property as a whole met our expectations in all ways and is exactly as described in the listing. The parking lot is just a few steps from the door, the swimming pool for KOA Resort is about a one minute walk from the back door, and the ocean is a five minute walk. The furniture is new, attractive and clean. The gardener keeps the plants and flowers on the surrounding grounds lush and shining. The owners were easy to contact by email and phone, and were helpful and pleasant. We would stay here again and recommend it without reservation."
