  • Fantastic Condo with a Great Location

"We have just returned from another wonderful stay at Kihei Surfside 405. It is the perfect vacation spot. The ocean view from the living room, dining room and kitchen can't be beat. You feel like you are surrounded by beautiful blue water. It is so relaxing and peaceful. Cara, the owner, is very accomadating and easy to work with. It is obvious that they take great care of their condo. Everything is top of the line. We hated to leave! We would highly recommend Kihei Surfside 405 for a vacation in Maui."

  • Paradise

"My 10 year old daughter and I stayed here in August 2006. The area is perfect. It's close to Wailea, but doesn't have the Wailea price tag. We walked down there in about 15 minutes. We loved the unit it had everything we needed including a wonderfully stocked kitchen with all necessary cooking utensils. We cooked all our breakfast and lunches at the condo. They had umbrellas and beach chairs and boogie boards and of course beachtowels, everything you need for the beach. The beds/linens were nice. The pictures are somewhat deceptive because the unit isn't on the ocean, in the end it didn't bother us because it was still only a 30 second walk to the ocean. This is my third time to Maui, the other two times I stayed in Kaanapali. This area is so much better! Wonderful beach, calmer ocean. While this is a review for 201. Any oddly numbered units face the italian restaurant next door, so you smell garlic in the evening. The restaurant is right on the ocean, so the units closer to the ocean will smell it more. Martha, the property manager was great. She organized a kayak/snorkeling trip for us and had great recommendations for dinner (5 palms next door-really good). I will be back."

  • Great view, nice place

"This place is perfect for a couple. The top floor view is really pretty to watch the sunrise and sunset. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was really nice with everything you need. It was really nice to have a cooler, beach chairs, towels, etc. The shower was basic and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and could even see a bit of the sunset from it. Very nice people in the complex. The TV was nice, although we didn't use it. Too many other fun things to do! We didn't use the pool or BBQ and tables, but they looked really nice. Nice grounds. Really great quiet location, a bit away from the really touristy areas, but close to everything. Close driving distance to great restaurants, shopping, etc. in Kehei. Close to great beaches too! The lady at the front desk recommended Nalu's restaurant -- just a few blocks away with excellent fish, salads, poke bowls and burgers and great prices. Joan was really easy to work with. We requested a late checkout since our flight was later and Joan was accommodating, but the management company got a late booking, so that didn't end up working, but she tried. Only suggestion would be to have 2 sets of snorkeling gear. And one of the fins was broken on the one set. Luckily, we brought our own snorkeling gear. I broke a fin on mine, so I was able to use the one good one from the set there."

  • Great property close to beaches

"Large condo with vaulted ceilings and lots of space. We had a small issue with the Murphy bed but someone showed up that day to fix it."
