  • Beautiful Resort and Condo

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Kamaole Sands Resort. The condo was very clean and modern with a really pretty tropical design. It was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Everything went as promised. The grounds/property was very beautiful and well-maintained. It is very conveniently located and was only a 5 minute walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again. It was the perfect home away from home. The only critique I would have is that the condo could use some new beach chairs and a new beach umbrella. The beach chairs had seen better days as the straps were ripped with use and time in the sun. The same goes for the umbrella. I would also recommend to the owners that they get new ice cube trays (very minor but a necessity). Everything else was wonderful--quiet and peaceful. We would recommend dining at Monkypod Kitchen in Wailea--great drinks and food. We also enjoyed breakfast a couple of times at the Kihei Café. The fish tacos at Coconut's Fish Café lived up to their reputation. We also spent quite a bit of time in Lahaina. The drive to Lahaina was about 45 minutes. There we went to the Maui Ocean Center and took a submarine ride with Atlantis (which we would highly recommend). Another great dining experience was at Lahaina Grill. The food and drinks were fabulous. There just wasn't enough time to try all that was recommended or do all the things we would have liked, and take the time to enjoy the resort. One other thing, if you don't need or want a fancy car, we would recommend renting a car from Kihei Rent-a-Car. They mostly rent Nissan Sentras. They are inexpensive and have great customer service. They will pick you up at the airport and bring you to their site. It worked very well for us. I would say if you like to be in the thick of it, where all the activity takes place, stay closer to Lahaina. If you prefer a quieter, more peaceful environment, Kihei is perfect. Overall, it was a dream vacation. We will be back!"

  • Excellent Stay!

"My family of four stayed here and were very happy with the property. The location is excellent - Kihei has it all and is convenient to so many parts of the island. This condo is in a beautiful complex with lovely, well-maintained gardens and a great pool and spa area where there's lots of room to hang out and for kids to meet others and play. Perfect location right across the road from Kamaole Beach III which is a lovely beach - we went down to swim or watch the sunset every day. The condo itself is clearly a few decades old but very well-maintained and fully stocked with everything you could need. A lovely view from the living room, master bedroom, and main lanai which was large enough for four to eat comfortably. Nice to have a second lanai off of the master bedroom to "hide" from the kids! The best thing about this condo is the size - everything was roomy enough that the four of us never felt like we were on top of each other. I would definitely stay again. My only piece of advice is to make sure you have the condo number and entry code before arriving - we did not because we knew there was an on-site office open 24 hours per day, but they did not have this information and we couldn't reach the owner as we arrived very late. It all got straightened out in the end, and John was very apologetic and even brought us a bottle of wine! He also let us check out late on our last day, which was great since our flight was late at night. Overall, you can't go wrong with this condo."

  • Incredible!!

"My now Wife and I (got married while we stayed here) had an amazing time in Room 604 Kihei Surfside. Everything good in Maui is within a short walk, bike, or car ride. We spent most of our days in the water and would get home to watch the incredible sunset every night from our lanai. The locals in Kihei are so friendly. We will defiantly be back to stay in this wonderful room."

  • Amazing Condo

"Thanks Patty, the condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable & spacious. Close to restaurants and amazing sun sets. The location in Kihei is centraly located to tour the whole island. We did the road to Hana. Luah in Wailea. Dinner and sunset cruise in Lahaina. Upcountry and the Haleaka crater. Enjoyed the beautiful grounds and pools in the J208 complex. Went to several beaches. Our favorite was turtle town. You have to try the shave ice, so good. Patty was a joy to work with for our questions and arrangements."
