  • good, spacious condo

"The unit has a well-equipped kitchen. We liked the big tiles on the floor in the living and dining areas and lots of cleaning detergent. The location was excellent - right across from the beach. The complex itself is older but well maintained. We didn't make use of the pool as it was smallish but used the tennis court often. Overall, we would recommend this unit in this complex to friends and family."

  • three generation family holiday

"We were a group of six, grandparents, 90 years young, my husband and myself and our two teenage sons. Hale Kameole is at the far south end of Kihei and is very quiet. The condo was perfect for our stay, the seniors on the main floor and the rest of us upstairs. There is an elevator, so no problem with stairs. The teenagers enjoyed their loft space and I liked that it was out of sight so I didn't have to see their messy room. The condo was very well stocked with all the necessities and more. The fridge had jam, butter, mustard and other condiments left from previous guests, which was great not having to buy all those extras. The closet on the lanai has everything you need for the beach. Our boys loved using the boogie boards and flippers(we had brought our own masks and snorkels). There is an info book in the suite put together by Janet and Dennis that is very helpful for choosing restaurants, beaches, etc. and the information is spot on. We swam with turtles every day. Snorkeling was fantastic and the beach just across the street wasn't crowded, even though it was spring break, and great fish sightings just to the south of Kam 3. We would grab a beach chair and a glass of wine and walk across the street to take in the sunset. The people we met at Hale Kameole were all so friendly, a few were retirees who spend months there. One of the highlights was the conch band at sunset....a memorable happy time was had by all."

  • Excellent Condo

"Our family travelled to Maui over Spring Break this year (March/2016). We had the pleasure of staying in HK111 and have to say it exceeded our expectations. The unit was very well stocked with everything you could need/want from a vacation rental. The Kitchen was well equipped and had many condiments, spices, oils & vinegars, which always makes cooking in a breeze. The King bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. The murphy bed was a bit hit with our children, having the extra bed meant they didn't have to sleep together. The outdoor closet had chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, coolers, sand mats. You name it, it was there! Excellent Condo. I recommend it! The owners were a pleasure to deal with, information was clear and helpful. Thank you for sharing your unit with us, we will definitely rent from you again! 10++"
