  • Excellent accommodations

"Accommodations were clean and comfortable, view of beach and access to beach was great, with extended shallows for swimming. Easy walking access to excellent restaurants, including Sorrento's. The on-site deli was super convenient for whatever the need, whether for a cup of coffee, sandwich, groceries, or a forgotten travel amenity. We'll return to this property!"

  • Best view on the best beach

"The location is all you could ask for- right on the beach, close to restaurants and services. And the unobstructed view of the beaches and ocean is wonderful with a perfect sunset view from the balcony ( in December anyhow). The building has a pool which was well utilized yet not busy- we didn't use it so couldn't comment on it personally. There was a choice between a nice grass area under some palm trees or the sand for seating outside at the beach with plenty of chaise lounges available. The building was well maintained and it was nice to have a little grocery/ deli on the ground floor. The restaurant was pretty good but on the pricier side; there was a bar area with sushi which was popular but again we did not try it. And there was another decent restaurant right next door. The condo unit itself was clean and nicely decorated with some tasteful original artwork. The number entry system instead of a cumbersome key was great. The master bed was comfortable as was the couch and sitting area. There were both fans and air con available although we didn't need either. It was nice to have a drying rack on the balcony for wet suits. It was nice overall but it seemed a bit tired for the price they were asking; it definitely could use some updating. And it was a bit oddly setup; it would seem that one bedroom could be rented on its own which then created some extra awkward doors. The kitchen was a decent size and they had all sorts of electric gadgets with plenty of dishes but then only 3 wine glasses, none of which matched, and only 1 champagne glass. There were some basic supplies for the kitchen provided which was great but then they only leave 3 pods for the dishwasher for the week and ask you to run the dishwasher on your last day before leaving. Are you supposed to go buy a big box for the 2-3 more loads you do? And how about a few extra garbage bags so you can change the garbage in the bathroom. Or a mop to clean the floor? None of these are big things or big price items but annoying for a short stay and just take away some of that nice homey feeling. Having said all this I would definitely stay here again. It is a great location on a lovely beach and wonderful view."
