  • Love Dorli’s vacation home!

"This was my fifth time vacationing in Maui since 2010 and the first time staying in Dorli's condo. Without question, Dorli's is my favorite and will be my first choice on my next trip to paradise. The condo is very clean and the atmosphere is just amazing. Not only is the condo located across the street from an awesome beach (Kamaole Beach III) but it is also located very close to some of my other favorite snorkeling and surfing beaches. Love this place and I give it with FIVE STARS.!!!!!!"

  • Quiet, peaceful and easy.

"We just returned from our Thanksgiving trip to Maui and our stay in this unit This unit is set on the 2nd floor at the back of the complex. When you're looking at maps online it doesn't serve it well because it was an easy, quick walk to Kam III beach. There is a sidewalk througout the property that allows you to walk the whole way and not be in the road. Being set back on the property you don't get the road noise as it is pretty constant traffic. Spending mornings on the lanai with our coffee, we could hear the ocean waves and there are peekaboo views of water. The unit has its own dedicated parking spot only a few steps down the walkway from the entrance. Again, no parking lot noise but easy access. There is a pool area with a fantastic sand bottom hot tub just at the base of this unit. The bedrooms of this condo are at the back of the unit so we were a bit concerned that there would be pool noise however the pool closes at 9 and the gates are locked so unless someone jumps the fence, there is no pool or hot tubbers being disruptive late in the evening. There are ample gas grilling areas around this unit and throughout the complex. We used the pool area for its proximity, the seating area for eating and visiting with neighbor travelers. Was quite nice. The grounds were the primary reason we chose this complex of all the others along this strip of road. So many of the others are drab, concrete buildings while this is LUSH and truly the Hawaiian experience with the flowers, fruit and native birds. The description of the unit and the supplied cooking, eating supplies and all the beach gear is accurate, understated and definitely reliable. And that master bed is more comfortable than my own at home! Unbelievable. This was my first VRBO experience so I was cautiously optimistic about the entire experience. Doug was very responsive to our questions and so generously gracious with our requests. I would not hesitate to work with him and stay here again!"

  • Nice place

"My family and I have always chosen hotels as our places to stay during a vacation so booking this property made me nervous at first. But wow was this place amazing! Its proximity to the beach was handy. The place itself was very neat and very well laid out, had everything we needed (I.e microwave, fridge, washer/drier etc.). Also, the garden was beautiful; palm trees, colorful trees, freshly cut grass. TL;DR This is a wonderful place to stay at. Would recommend to ANYONE."

  • Updated unit, excellent choice in South Kihei

"This is a very nice unit - recently updated top to bottom (we stayed here September 2016). Beautiful tilework, granite, stainless steel, furnishings, etc. It's a ground floor unit, so you can walk right out of the livingroom onto a big patio and grassy area, facing west with a 'glimpse' of ocean.. The bedroom at the other end of the condo also has a small patio. Lots of beach chairs and toys, snorkel gear etc. in the cupboards. Great location - two-minute walk to the pool.. five minute walk downhill to Kamaole 3 beach (good), and a four minute drive to Keawakapu Beach (arguably the best on Maui). A few minor concerns - the king mattress in the bedroom is very soft - not great for bad backs. And the sofabed mattress might be okay for kids but don't expect an adult to sleep there. Also the design of the buildings means the unit upstairs from you is set back about 10 feet, so their sliding lanai door is right above the middle of your livingroom ceiling - kinda noisy opening and closing. And the coffeemaker had problems - looked like someone had overheated it. Overall a great stay - can't wait to get back!"
