  • Luxury in paradise!

"What a fantastic week we had in Trish's condo! While the photos look great, the quality of the furnishings are even more luxurious than pictured. We felt like we were in a luxury hotel suite. The bed and all the furnishings were so comfortable. This condo is so well equipped. Overall, this complex is exceptionally landscaped and manicured. The pool areas are also well maintained. The location of the unit is great, close to the beach and also close to the pool. Although there is not an ocean view from the unit, ocean views abound within the complex. We felt like we were in a tropical paradise. We were a 5 minute walk to the beach across the street, yet we also enjoyed exploring the beaches in Wailea, a 5 minute ride by car with plenty of parking. Trish is also a great communicator, providing excellent customer service. If our vacation travels take us back to Maui, we would definitely choose to stay in this unit again!"

  • Hope to be back!

"We just spent a month and a half at this home and it was perfect for us. The pictures are exactly what you get. Clean, comfortable, pretty and nicely decorated with some lovely art pieces. It was a serene environment in an easily accessible back corner unit of a lush, well maintained, friendly complex. Friday morning donuts with tenants was a nice social and a great source of information. Monday-Wed morning aquarobics in the big pool with the ladies also a good time. The unit is really well stocked and complex is walking distance to shopping, happy hours, and across from a nice, life-guarded beach. Bring the chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and fill the cooler for afternoon delight. Two (or 3?) grills just outside the door, feels like the unit has its own private barbecue. Parking space is just steps beyond and the tennis courts just 30 second walk past us. Tropical pool 2 minute walk from condo was perfect for evening swim under the stars. I so miss starting every day on the lanai with my morning coffee, sitting under a canopy of palms and lush bushes dripping brilliant flowers, listening to birdsong. I almost hate to post this because we hope to return same time (and more+) next year and haven't heard back yet about that request..sure hope nobody scoops the time!!"

  • Great Find

"We stayed for a week with our family of four (two young adult children). The condo was spacious, clean, quiet, well appointed, and in a beautiful condo complex. Most of the condo complexes in this part of Maui are high rises closely smushed together. The Maui Kamaole has rolling lawns on a hill interspersed with small condo units (two story townhomes), swimming pools, jacuzzis, tennis court, and trees with birds. One delight was looking out the window by the dining table and seeing which birds were in the tree. The parking space is steps away from the apartment, very convenient for lugging in groceries. We walked to the beach on a couple of occasions, and drove to beaches nearby the rest of the time. There are lots of good restaurants within a five minute drive. Supermarkets, a natural foods store, a snorkeling gear rental place - actually anything you need is within a short distance from this condo. Probably the main decision you need to make is whether you want to splurge for an ocean front room or if you would be happy with a garden view. We found this garden view property to be peaceful and private and relaxing. The front desk at the condo complex was helpful and friendly. Croil, the owner, responded quickly to any email inquiries. I was concerned that the weather forecasted rain for the entire week we were going to be on Maui. Croil correctly predicted that it would not be that rainy in Kihei, even if it was storming on other parts of the island. We were able to go to the beach every day. Recommendations: Ahihi Hinau preserve for snorkeling (20 minutes south of the condo) - easy access and clear water (no sand on the beach, only lava rocks), a live coral reef, lots of pretty fish. Ululani's in Lahaina for shave ice. They use natural syrups and their ice is sooo soft. Monkeypod in Lahaina for special meals. Provisions in Pa'ia and Oceanside in Wailuku for farm to table meals. Mana Foods in Pa'ia for organic vegetables and bulk food. Big Beach for quintessential Hawaiian sand beach. Snorkel Bob's for their swim belt flotation device if you are not a strong swimmer - keeps arms and legs free for swimming with no worry about staying afloat! Bathrooms are newly remodeled. Washer/dryer and dishwasher worked well and were very useful. Beds were comfortable. Twin beds and bathroom downstairs and master bed/bath upstairs provide a sense of spaciousness and privacy."

  • Paradise for Our Family of 4 - Wonderful Unit

"We loved staying in this spacious ground level unit at a wonderful complex. Phil and Susie's condo was perfect for our family of four. The king size bed in the master bedroom was incredibly comfortable. And the second bedroom (Den) was perfect for our boys (10 & 12) to share. We ate dinner outside several nights enjoying the patio garden area and view. The unit is located near the lovely tropical pool and hot tub on the condo grounds which we enjoyed daily. We also could have walked to Kam III beach (great for morning snorkels with sea turtles and afternoon boogie board sessions), but preferred to drive so we could access our boogie boards, chairs, towels and snorkel gear easily and drive home after a wonderful day a the beach. We were also close to other snorkeling beaches Ulua was great (5 min drive from condo and saw a shark and ray). We enjoyed walking to many restaurants when we didn't cook in. Our whole family can't wait to return to Maui and Phil and Susie's unit! Thank you for helping to make it such a wonderful family vacation!"
