  • Wonderful place to stay

"We received stayed in Gary's condo for 5 days with our 5 year old son. The apartment is lovely with beautiful finishes, and we particularly appreciated the well appointed kitchen. The beach is beautiful and the view from the apartment can't be beat. Thanks for having us, we hope to return!"

  • Awesome stay at family friendly condo!

"This was our 10th time to Maui and our 8th stay at the Kamaole Sands. The condo is well equipped and one of the most lovely we've stayed at. We enjoyed having the privacy in the upstairs master suite and still be able to keep an eye and ear on our 12 year old son downstairs. The proximity to the pool and bbq is perfect. You are close, but not too close to hear the pool noise. Having the beach chairs, towels and toys helped me to pack lighter. Although we didn't use it, having the printer available in case we needed it for work was great. Also, appreciated having a smart tv with Netflix and we also used our Amazon account (and remember to log out). On our last day we had an issue with the dryer, but Sharon's contact Carol Mulch made a trip to the condo and helped us! So appreciative of her kind gesture to dry our clothes! Very responsive owner and lovely, lovely condo! We would love to return!"

  • A Great Stay at a Great Place!!!

"Just back from a great 10 night stay at this gorgeous unit in Kamaole Sands. As first time users of VRBO, we were a bit skeptical but are so glad we chose to stay here. On top of our great experience in Maui exploring the great beaches of the island, the owner Claudia was so helpful and reassuring with our booking and was more than happy to answer all our questions etc. Great views from the lanai, (not all buildings in this complex have great views but this one does!!) a fully stocked kitchen and a cozy living room/tv areas if you feel like just chilling out for a bit. Another great surprise was the use of the beach gear - cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella came in handy at a great beach right across the street. Great for boogie boarding and we even swam with the big sea turtles there. Pack your snorkel gear as there are some decent lava/coral areas at Kam III beach to see some tropical fish even. Can't imagine choosing a hotel room over a unit like this ever again. All in all a great time and can't wait to get back again."

  • Perfect place for a perfect Hawaiian vacation!

"We were in Maui for 11 wonderful days. To begin, the south Kihei location gives you the perfect weather and access to all the activities and fun in Kihei with the beautiful and upscale setting of Wailea very close by. The this location is right on the ocean with a front green lawn that was a perfect location of solitude and communion with the ocean. This 2 bedroom Condo, which from the moment we walked in projected a sense of comfort and space, was very comfortable with a large and spacious Livingroom, a very well equipped kitchen with a large workspace, an in-condo washer and dryer, perfect-sized bedrooms with a large amount of clothes and equipment storage and hanging space, perfect-sized bathrooms with excellent showers for after-beach showering. As the unit is at the end of one side of the building and therefore on a corner there are many large windows which open to provide a welcome breeze and an excellent view of downtown Kihei, west Maui and the ever-imposing Haleakala volcano. The balcony provides several comfortable chairs for reading or whatever and a nice table for dining. The unit also has beach equipment including great beach chairs. If you’re a beach or simply a walking enthusiast the beach is probably one of the nicest swimming and walking beaches on the Hawaiian Islands. If you’re considering a hotel, as we initially were, vs a condo go with this condo! Lastly the owner was a delight to work with starting with the initial reservation through gaining access to the condo."
