  • Amazing Retreat!!

"First timers to Maui, we had a wonderful stay. Was a very quiet neighborhood and loved the location. Cottage was very clean and comfortable, we did shop for food and cooked in for several meals. Would recommend Walmart in Kahului (best food prices). We brought a TomTom with which made getting around the Island very easy. So much to do and see. We loved the Road to Hana, we took two days to explore. We purchased R2H CD guide at ABC store which was very helpful, as some land marks came up pretty quick on road. State parks were awesome, Haleakala has two locations tip: once you pay to enter first park fee was good for entry into other parks for a few days, ask! Waianpanapa State park is a must see, is located just before Hana and there was no entry fee. We booked all our Ocean trips , Whale watching, dinner cruise, and snorkeling through Pacific Whale Foundation, had a great experience with them, we saw whales on every trip. Kihei has a lot of beaches and market places to shop. We loved our stay in Maui and would recommend this cottage to family and friends. We liked that there was no cable/local TV access (kept us off couch) , internet access worked great to update us on weather and social media. Grace Cottage met all our expectations and there we not surprises, which is always a plus. Thanks Christine!!"

  • Hope to be back!

"We just spent a month and a half at this home and it was perfect for us. The pictures are exactly what you get. Clean, comfortable, pretty and nicely decorated with some lovely art pieces. It was a serene environment in an easily accessible back corner unit of a lush, well maintained, friendly complex. Friday morning donuts with tenants was a nice social and a great source of information. Monday-Wed morning aquarobics in the big pool with the ladies also a good time. The unit is really well stocked and complex is walking distance to shopping, happy hours, and across from a nice, life-guarded beach. Bring the chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and fill the cooler for afternoon delight. Two (or 3?) grills just outside the door, feels like the unit has its own private barbecue. Parking space is just steps beyond and the tennis courts just 30 second walk past us. Tropical pool 2 minute walk from condo was perfect for evening swim under the stars. I so miss starting every day on the lanai with my morning coffee, sitting under a canopy of palms and lush bushes dripping brilliant flowers, listening to birdsong. I almost hate to post this because we hope to return same time (and more+) next year and haven't heard back yet about that request..sure hope nobody scoops the time!!"

  • Fun in Maui

"The condo is beautiful and conveniently located across from three ideal beaches with lifeguards. We felt special in the finely appointed condo. It was like being in an art gallery having time to appreciate every painting and artwork. The handy location allowed us to easily do many activities: snorkeling, attending a luau, shopping in La Haina, visiting Secret Beach and the Volcanic Beach, spending time at the pool. Restaurants are nearby including one of our favorites: Moose McGuillicuddies Sports Bar. Just hanging out and relaxing was fun too. All of the amenities that we needed were there, including a washer and dryer, beach chairs, cooler, etc.. We want to return soon!!!"

  • Ideal place to stay on Maui

"I met my folks here for my 40th birthday as we are on different ends of the world right now. It was a reunion as I used to live on Maui. It was an ideal spot! Thanks for sharing your holiday home with us in paradise, we would come back in a heartbeat REASAONS ITS GREAT: -Congenial, helpful owners -Nice/reasonable price -Stunning view and amazing sea breeze- we didnt need the air conditioner (this time of year anyway) -Great beach for long walks, sitting and relaxing -Lawn access with tree shade when beach is too windy or otherwise -Great snorkelling at your doorstep- I snokelled every day -Rentals, shop, bar, restaurant and pool on site which were all great -A 3 min drive or short walk from kihei town, shops and more restaurants -Quiet -Really comfortable beds! -Everything we needed was there including kitchen supplies, beach equipment, towels etc ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: - Maid and handyman may need call as the floors and counters were dirty when we arrived, we fixed the doorknob as it was falling off and the kitchen table seems to be falling apart- beyond wobbly - In need of paint job and could use some brighter artwork to spruce things up"
