  • Hope to be back!

"We just spent a month and a half at this home and it was perfect for us. The pictures are exactly what you get. Clean, comfortable, pretty and nicely decorated with some lovely art pieces. It was a serene environment in an easily accessible back corner unit of a lush, well maintained, friendly complex. Friday morning donuts with tenants was a nice social and a great source of information. Monday-Wed morning aquarobics in the big pool with the ladies also a good time. The unit is really well stocked and complex is walking distance to shopping, happy hours, and across from a nice, life-guarded beach. Bring the chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and fill the cooler for afternoon delight. Two (or 3?) grills just outside the door, feels like the unit has its own private barbecue. Parking space is just steps beyond and the tennis courts just 30 second walk past us. Tropical pool 2 minute walk from condo was perfect for evening swim under the stars. I so miss starting every day on the lanai with my morning coffee, sitting under a canopy of palms and lush bushes dripping brilliant flowers, listening to birdsong. I almost hate to post this because we hope to return same time (and more+) next year and haven't heard back yet about that request..sure hope nobody scoops the time!!"

  • A great place to stay

"This was my second stay at Clark and Bridget's place at the Kamaole Sands. As before everything was top notch-clean, tidy and well maintained. Lots of extras-beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards etc-in the outside lockers. My favourite thing was the collapsable wagon. Great for bringing groceries up and trips to the beach-load it up and away you go. Lots of fans in the unit keep the air moving around so A/C only needed sparingly. Would definitely recommend this unit and hope to return again. Mahalo Clark and Bridget for sharing your piece of paradise with us."

  • Home away from home

"This is the place to stay! It was everything we wanted it to be for our first trip to Hawaii and more. The condo was extremely comfortable and suited our needs well. The very comfortable bed and pillows left us rested and relaxed from a long days worth of being on the beach and sightseeing. The kitchen was beyond being well stocked with amenities and allowed us to make some of our own meals and enjoy coffee on the patios in the mornings. The property had multiple gas grill facilities and they were immaculately maintained (very clean) to include a spare tank of propane. Having laundry accommodations was also a plus in our opinion. The location was perfect. Close enough to the beach, restaurants and shops without being immersed in them. The condo set back from the main road so it was private and quiet. The pool was a nice change for some relaxation after being at the beach. The welcome basket of goodies was most appreciated and a very thoughtful touch. We would definitely stay here again and give it a hearty recommendation for those of you seeking a very clean, comfortable, private, well maintained home away from home. The Eggs Benedict at Ami Ami and the Fish Tacos at Coconuts are to die for!"

  • A couple's dream getaway!

"This was my partner and my first time in Hawaii and we decided to stay in Maui because of great recommendations about the island. When we discovered Kihei Surfside we instantly knew it was beyond perfect for our stay. Diana was incredibly helpful with every question we had (we were travelling from Australia) and we were able to arrive on the island with confidence and start our trip relaxed and stress-free. The suite itself is absolutely beautiful and was an extra romantic option for us; with a king sized bed, top floor views of the breathtaking scenery, and lots of mirrors to be able to admire my partner at all angles of the room! As a young 24 year old couple, it had everything we needed to make the most of our stay, with every imaginable utensil and appliance available to us. We were able to do a grocery shop and maximise our time in our suite, enjoying romantic homemade dinners on the lanai, watching the sunset over the ocean. Kihei Surfside is an amazing resort with more options than we even thought we would make use of! But oh boy, did we love every aspect of it. The beach, just meters away, was unreal and stretched a lot longer than most beaches in the area. The water was always warm and there was plenty of space for lounging on the sand without being surrounded by others. On the main side of the resort is a lush and beautiful grassy area which we ended up spending more time on. It was a peaceful spot for sun-baking by the seaside without getting sandy or for making use of the BBQ and enjoying the sunset. There is also a trail that winds along a rocky cliff-side that made for great early-morning walks and exploring the other beaches (which were not as great as Kihei Surfside's beach but still nice). We rented a car at the airport from Thrifty Car Rental which was the another great decision we made (second to staying here). There was plenty of parking at the resort and Maui's #1 beach (according to one website), Makena beach, was a short drive away and we returned on several occasions. There are great restaurants and shops nearby and the supermarket was only a 2 minute drive up the road and it was so convenient we returned on a daily basis to get extra supplies. Overall, this was everything we could have ever hoped for on a romantic and I am so grateful for how much closer I feel with my partner after such an indescribable experience. We were so sad to leave the paradise island and return to reality!"
