  • Paradise

"My 10 year old daughter and I stayed here in August 2006. The area is perfect. It's close to Wailea, but doesn't have the Wailea price tag. We walked down there in about 15 minutes. We loved the unit it had everything we needed including a wonderfully stocked kitchen with all necessary cooking utensils. We cooked all our breakfast and lunches at the condo. They had umbrellas and beach chairs and boogie boards and of course beachtowels, everything you need for the beach. The beds/linens were nice. The pictures are somewhat deceptive because the unit isn't on the ocean, in the end it didn't bother us because it was still only a 30 second walk to the ocean. This is my third time to Maui, the other two times I stayed in Kaanapali. This area is so much better! Wonderful beach, calmer ocean. While this is a review for 201. Any oddly numbered units face the italian restaurant next door, so you smell garlic in the evening. The restaurant is right on the ocean, so the units closer to the ocean will smell it more. Martha, the property manager was great. She organized a kayak/snorkeling trip for us and had great recommendations for dinner (5 palms next door-really good). I will be back."

  • Wish we Could Have Stayed FOREVER!

"This ground floor unit exceeded all of my expectations and then some! If you are thinking of spending a little less to stay somewhere with a little less view or a little less space or a little less anything...Don't DO It. I could not possibly express how wonderful this unit is and how much we enjoyed having the ocean right outside of our patio door. I have stayed many times in Maui but never stayed in an Ocean front unit. The condo itself is very well equipped and laid out wonderfully for having the entire family help with cooking. There is plenty of space to move around and enough counter space to accommodate the everyone. We cooked every day we were there and used the oceanfront BBQ nightly. I cannot think of anything that would make this place nicer to stay in. If you are considering this unit at all BOOK IT!"

  • We LOVED this condo and location!

"We loved everything about this place! The main building was beautifully decorated and had a fabulous restaurant, deli, equipment rental service, activity desk, yoga studio, BBQ grills, and pool! The staff was very friendly and we felt the Aloha spirit here. We walked a few feet from the manicured, palm tree shaded lawn (with plumerias!) onto the best beach, Keawakapu! This beach was breathtaking! Beautiful! The beach was great for swimming, stand up paddle boarding, boogie boarding and snorkeling. This was a wide long beach, perfect for long walks! The condo was very clean, updated, nicely decorated and appointed with everything we needed including beach chairs and a boogie board. The linens were very nice and the beds were comfortable. There were two air conditioning units that worked great. The view was magical and we could hear the palm trees and surf. The owner, Kimber, is excellent and provided great service! We are looking forward to returning and will definitely stay here again. Mana Kai Maui number 606 is no ka oi (the best)!!"
