  • A relaxing week

"Larry and staff at rosiesrentals.com were very helpful and informative throughout the reservation process. The unit was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. The upgraded master bath was so nice, and the extra half bath was so convenient for us. We had everything we needed, and more, in the kitchen as well as all the beach supplies (chairs, umbrella, cooler). We so enjoyed cooking dinners on the barbecues, eating dinner on the lawn, and lounging while watching the beautiful sunsets each evening. Listening to the waves lulled us to sleep each night. We walked the beach each day down to the Andaz and back, and walked up past the boat launch to watch the sea turtles. This was just the laid-back lifestyle we look forward to for a relaxing visit. We so look forward to coming back very soon."

  • An excellent end to our Hawaiin adventure

"After a week on Kauia at two high-end resorts, and a quick stop at a small B&B in Hana, we settled into this Kamaole Sands unit for 5 nights. It turned out great--the apartment had everything one could want, Roy and Audrey offered a lot of great advice, and the complex is very well-maintained. We appreciated the nice pool and hot tub options, even though the beach was a short walk/drive (we drove just because we tended to take too much junk but we could have walked) Kamaole 3 beach wasn't quite as calm as many said but it was winter and huge swells were hitting the rest of maui, so the small waves weren't too much trouble. But for very small kids, the pool or nearby beaches may be better choices. We grilled stakes one night on the available Weber BBQs, and had tons of restaurant options in driving or walking distance. The new maur brewing company taphouse was a 10 minute drive and our favorite--they usually have food trucks, plus 30+ beers! lots of folks were regulars at the Sands--many from Canada--and i can see why they return. It's not a fancy resort but a very good value in a nice, casual part of Maui."

  • Beautiful view and well appointed unit

"We stayed 7 days. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. A rental car is a must. There was snorkeling equipment, lawn chairs and beach towels in the unit so we didn't have to rent any. The grounds are well kept and beautifully manicured. Not to mention, the pool temperature was perfect. You won't be disappointed with your stay."

  • Maui Vacation

"The unit does have a great view of the ocean, however travel noise from the road does impact visiting on the lanai. With only AC in the bedrooms, it was extremely warm in the downstairs living/kitchen area even when we left the door open at night with both fans running. We were comfortable in the bedrooms at night, but very uncomfortable in the living space due to no AC. Perhaps we would stay in this unit during the winter months, but not in the summer!"
