Recent South Kihei (Kamaole III Beach Area) reviews

  • Kihei Surfside #507

"Nice unit with very nice kitchen. We had a comfortable time there. The view is spectacular with sunset views this time of year. Evening sunsets with other guests near the BBQ are fun with conch shell blowing friendly people to talk to."

  • Perfect for our vacation

"The condo was a perfect fit for our family (two teen age boys). Very comfortable and well-designed, with a great lanai and view. The complex is also very well maintained. We appreciated the abundance of beach gear. It all added up to the very lazy week that we needed. We went to the beach every day, either right across the street from the condo or a 10-20 minute drive to less developed ones. The hosts were a pleasure to work with and were always very responsive."

  • Overall Great Condo and Location!

"It was our first time to Maui. Travelled with our two infant children. Condo nicely located at the top of the hill and is very calm and quiet. Grounds are absolutely beautiful and this location is perfect to explore Maui. Condo had all amenities you need including baby crib, beach gear and towel / coolers. Would definitely stay here again!"

  • Amazing property, amenities... this is the life

"Stayed here for a work trip and got a nice piece of the Maui life. Beautiful, secluded beach that wasn't crowded, great restaurant/bar/pool downstairs, amazing morning views to wake up to, close to great snorkeling spots further south and a central location to get anywhere else on the island. Can't wait to go back and stay here again! The place itself was nicely updated and comfortable for our needs. I would add that we went all over the island, and this was our favorite area. Ka'anapali is too resort-y with hotels and beaches packed with tourists and giant Vegas-style amenities. Lahaina was a cool part of Maui and fun to walk around and shop/eat. But Kihei had the best mix of everything and makes it easy to go any direction (Haleakala Volcano, Hana, Lahaina, Paia, south past Wailea, anywhere!)"
