  • Second Floor Condo

"We have been going to Maui for years but this was our first stay at Kihei Surfside. Our condo unit was clean and well stocked with EVERYTHING! Hands down this is an amazing place to stay, with the exception of NO air conditioning in the bedroom (which made it hard to sleep) We would still highly recommend Kihei Surfside."

  • Perfect location

"We stayed in Kamaole sands for our 10 year anniversary, which was the same place we stayed when we got married in Kihei 10 years ago. The bed was uber comfy, had all the amenities we could want (we cooked often) and was perfect location to the beach, restaurants and even Foodland. We arrived to a locked outdoor cabinet which contained the beach chairs and other beach necessities and called Steve. He was very responsive and quick. i would stay here again,"

  • Summer in "Paradise"

"Just returned from another wonderful stay in this lovely condo. It never seems long enough even though we stay several weeks. The location is perfect and we don't run out of fun things to do and new restaurants to try. Our grandsons became certified PADI divers this year, getting training through B & B Dive shop in Kihei. They are a favorite with my husband and now with the boys. It is a pleasure working with the owner, Laurel. Both she and Carol go out of their way To make our vacation a pleasure.. We hope to return soon."

  • Kihei Surfside

"My wife and I enjoyed our honeymoon stay at Kihei Surfside so much, we returned 7 years later for another vacation. I'm wondering why we waited so long! I'll start with the only downside: there's no A/C in this building. On days when the winds are blowing in off the water, this isn't that much of a problem. But when the air is still and hot, opening windows/doors at opposite ends of the unit doesn't do much good, and one begins to baste in his/her own juices. Other than that, there is no downside. In our experience, Kihei tends to cool down at night enough to get a good night's rest, and if you're vacationing on Maui, what're you doing in your room during the day anyway - go sightsee, go lay on the beach, go diving, etc... ! Not to say that the rooms are anything but comfy and NICE. The ocean view smacks you in the face as soon as you open the door - which as far as I'm concerned is the #1 draw of the whole building. Units farther to the left (as you face the front of the building) are of course more desirable due to their proximity to the water. IF you can, go for lower numbered units on each floor (101, 201, 301 instead of 115, 215, 315) since you'll be closer to the water and the ocean will fill more of your view. That having been said, give me the ground floor unit farthest from the water, and I'd not complain, and you're an ungrateful slob that can't be satisfied if you'd complain. Both the units we've stayed in have been tastefully appointed - very stylish and inviting. Now that I've said all this, please disregard it: if Kihei Surfside gets too popular, there won't be any availability when we next want to stay there."
