  • Wonderful vacation spot! Beautiful condo!!

"We love staying at Kamaole Sands and stayed in this condo for a month. It has a nice view across gardens to the water. Sunsets were so pretty. Great kitchen to cook in and everything was very clean. We didn't travel with children but there are all sorts of beach toys, noodles, beach chairs, etc. There are plenty of bath towels and linens. We normally take our own beach towels. Decided not to and my only negative comment would be the very small, thin beach towels. Loved the full size washer and dryer. Kamaole Sands is a great location with wonderful beaches across the street. Saw turtles every day. The grounds are always kept clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to family and friends."

  • Perfect Kihei Location

"I booked the condo just 3 days before arriving, and it was absolutely perfect! Most condos in Kihei are across the road from a public beach, but Kihei surfside is right on th water. The condo overlooks the massive lawn and pool, and is next to a half mile beach that goes past the 4-star Wailea hotels. The condo is updated and has all the beach gear and kitchen tools you could want. The property has a putting green shuffleboard and pool. I'll definitely return."

  • Best view in the complex

"We stayed in unit 149 and we were extremely impressed. It is a beautifully renovated, well stocked unit with the best view in the entire complex. Highly recommend this unit, we will be coming back."

  • An excellent end to our Hawaiin adventure

"After a week on Kauia at two high-end resorts, and a quick stop at a small B&B in Hana, we settled into this Kamaole Sands unit for 5 nights. It turned out great--the apartment had everything one could want, Roy and Audrey offered a lot of great advice, and the complex is very well-maintained. We appreciated the nice pool and hot tub options, even though the beach was a short walk/drive (we drove just because we tended to take too much junk but we could have walked) Kamaole 3 beach wasn't quite as calm as many said but it was winter and huge swells were hitting the rest of maui, so the small waves weren't too much trouble. But for very small kids, the pool or nearby beaches may be better choices. We grilled stakes one night on the available Weber BBQs, and had tons of restaurant options in driving or walking distance. The new maur brewing company taphouse was a 10 minute drive and our favorite--they usually have food trucks, plus 30+ beers! lots of folks were regulars at the Sands--many from Canada--and i can see why they return. It's not a fancy resort but a very good value in a nice, casual part of Maui."
