  • Family Trip to the Island

"My family (consisting of myself, my husband and 6 year old, my brother, sister in-law and niece, my mother and god mother) just spent a week here. The house and owners were great. The house comes equiped with everything you need. The location is very central to anything you'd want to do on the island. The beach across the street is more of a walking beach than a swimming beach but that's ok we watched many beautiful sunsets just standing out there. Nalu's Resturant is in walking distance (was recommended by the owner's) very good food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Plenty of things within walking distance. I'd definitely stay here again. *on a side note. I did fall down the stairs while i was there and let the owners know so hopefully they have put down something to prevent this again. I was trying to be careful =( Great visit to Maui with my family! Mahalo!"

  • Amazing views, quiet retreat, simple life

"Thank you for the great condo for us to call home for our time on Maui. We selected this location because of the proximity to the Grand Wailea where our friends were staying. Their hotel was beautiful, but we loved our quiet retreat. The other families we traveled with have very active kids and they wanted to go for the big pool experience. Our daughter is over and we love to focus on a place just for two. The Surfside location is amazing, to be right on the beach was our goal, and we could not have found a better location. The condo itself was well updated. The kitchen was well stocked. We loved having our friends over to BBQ, and one night managed to cook for 13 with the supplies on hand! The only suggestion I would have to make this unit absolutely perfect would be a king size bed. Thank you for a great week, outstanding hospitality, and quickly solving the one obstacle we had on our arrival."

  • Clean, nice, homey!

"We had a great time in Kihei and Kamaole Sands. The property was very nice. Pool had plenty of chairs, pool never really got over crowded, and there was a snack bar and hot tubs too. Also several grill areas if you want to cook in. The unit was clean and had everything you could want. Opening the doors and letting the ocean breeze come in was awesome. Not really much of a ocean view but it was still nice. Owners were very nice/responsive to questions. The beach across the street was awesome for snorkeling (good fish & turtles too). And don't miss the AHIHI reserve for snorkeling about 15 min down the road. (awesome both days we went!) Cafe O'lei is a must for lunch or dinner(mahi mahi any style great). Pizza Madness about 2.5miles north of KS is delish! Ohanas fish & chips was very good but don't get the grilled shrimp app. Freds mexican was good. Booked Molokini snorkel on the Quick Silver through the concierge....staff was great, food was great, snorkeling great, turtle town was ok-saw some small turtles but was hoping for more. Worth $10 to rent wetsuit if you tend to get cold & even though we didn't rent a camera for $40 the people who did got some great underwater shots. Beer and mai tais $2 each..cheapest drinks we had all week. Dinner cruise on Maui Princess...mahi mahi and salad were great. You sit at a table with another couple so you tend to not get up and enjoy the sunset if they are nice and you are talking and I didn't see any dancing which I kinda wanted since it was our 25th anniversary. If you get a late flight out there is a place you can shower before you leave. Poured rain the day we did the road to Hana so not our best day but still got some nice pics from car window of a few waterfalls. Definitely not for the weak stomach. We drove all the way around through the rough roads after you get to Hana bay. It is 3 hours back to KS and rough and nerve racking but fun in a convertible if not raining. Great time in Maui!"

  • Maui Banyan - T204

"Our family stayed in this one bedroom condo plus the studio next door for 2 weeks. The units were in excellent condition, and Steve and Tamara made it easy for us to access the property. The location is perfect for getting to the beach quickly, hanging out at the pool, and going to restaurants and stores. The kitchens had all the dishes, cooking utensils, etc. that we needed, and the BBQ's by the pool were greatly appreciated. We loved having the beach chairs, umbrella, towels, coolers and sand toys. The pool area wasn't crowded, even during the busy weeks that we were there, and the pool was a nice temperature. Parking was readily available and convenient. We would recommend Steve and Tamara's properties to anyone coming for a visit to Maui!"
