  • Beautiful Condo

"We stayed at this condo in the second part of April. The condo was beautifully furnished with lots of room for our family. The unit was clean, fully stocked and the air conditioning worked great. There is an awesome view of the ocean from the lanai. This unit is on the top floor at the end of the building so is quiet and relaxing. It's also very close to the parking to stall for this unit as well as a quick walk to the pool and grill that is part of the complex. Joe the owner was excellent to deal with and answered any questions we had immediately. There were also beach chairs and boogie boards for our teenage boys to take to the beach which was a nice extra! Would definitely stay here again!"

  • Clean well appointed beautiful suite

"This condo is the perfect vacation rental. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay - the kitchen has every possible item you would need to cook a meal at home and the lanai is the perfect spot to enjoy it! Views of the ocean and lots of space. The quality of everything in the home is top notch from the comfortable bed and living room, to the utensils in the kitchen. We can't wait to get back to Maui again and wouldn't hesitate to rebook here."

  • A couple's dream getaway!

"This was my partner and my first time in Hawaii and we decided to stay in Maui because of great recommendations about the island. When we discovered Kihei Surfside we instantly knew it was beyond perfect for our stay. Diana was incredibly helpful with every question we had (we were travelling from Australia) and we were able to arrive on the island with confidence and start our trip relaxed and stress-free. The suite itself is absolutely beautiful and was an extra romantic option for us; with a king sized bed, top floor views of the breathtaking scenery, and lots of mirrors to be able to admire my partner at all angles of the room! As a young 24 year old couple, it had everything we needed to make the most of our stay, with every imaginable utensil and appliance available to us. We were able to do a grocery shop and maximise our time in our suite, enjoying romantic homemade dinners on the lanai, watching the sunset over the ocean. Kihei Surfside is an amazing resort with more options than we even thought we would make use of! But oh boy, did we love every aspect of it. The beach, just meters away, was unreal and stretched a lot longer than most beaches in the area. The water was always warm and there was plenty of space for lounging on the sand without being surrounded by others. On the main side of the resort is a lush and beautiful grassy area which we ended up spending more time on. It was a peaceful spot for sun-baking by the seaside without getting sandy or for making use of the BBQ and enjoying the sunset. There is also a trail that winds along a rocky cliff-side that made for great early-morning walks and exploring the other beaches (which were not as great as Kihei Surfside's beach but still nice). We rented a car at the airport from Thrifty Car Rental which was the another great decision we made (second to staying here). There was plenty of parking at the resort and Maui's #1 beach (according to one website), Makena beach, was a short drive away and we returned on several occasions. There are great restaurants and shops nearby and the supermarket was only a 2 minute drive up the road and it was so convenient we returned on a daily basis to get extra supplies. Overall, this was everything we could have ever hoped for on a romantic and I am so grateful for how much closer I feel with my partner after such an indescribable experience. We were so sad to leave the paradise island and return to reality!"

  • Wonderful condo

"We stayed for a week with our three young adult children in this condo. It fit our needs perfectly. The price was right, the grounds were beautiful and well-kept, and the interior was spacious and clean. It was also quiet, and we could park close to the front door but with no traffic noise. It was pretty warm and humid during our time there, and so we liked having the option of air-conditioning. The kitchen had all the things we needed, including a dishwasher. Since five of us ate in for breakfast and a few dinners, we appreciated that! The main lanai has a lovely outlook onto the grounds, just as it looks in the photo in this listing - great for sitting with a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. We used the smaller pool close by a couple of times as well as the spa. It was really nice to have all the beach equipment available to us - umbrella, chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, two small coolers - and we used some or all of them every day of our stay. We walked to the closest beach (Kamaole III) a couple of times and could have (but didn't) walk to some restaurants and shops. The owner was very responsive to all of our inquiries. As far as recommendations, Po'olenalena Beach was great for boogie-boarding (good surf after the hurricane); Maluaka Beach for snorkeling and swimming with giant turtles; zip-lining through Flyin Hawaiian, which was really fun though really expensive; waterfall hike out on the Hana Highway (listed under "Adventures" in Maui Revealed); the top of Haleakala just to walk around and gawk. We ate at and recommend Cafe O'Lei, Roasted Chilies, Cheeseburger in Paradise in Lahaina, a flatbread pizza place in Pa'ia."
