  • Welcome Home!

"Spent 5 nights in this unit. Best location! Even though the temperature flirted with 90 degrees in the daytime, there was absolutely no need to run the air conditioner even though there was one. This unit is breezy and beautiful. John stayed in contact with me from the time of booking up until our arrival, answering questions I had with very thorough responses. There were even fresh flowers left on our first full day. Just added a touch of comfort and care to an amazing experience. This was a great find and I would definitely love to stay here again!"

  • Thank you Sam!

"The booking experience and contact with the owner was top notch. Our short stay was delightful. Sam thought of everything that we might need for our vacation, down to the sand castle tools which my adult daughter and I put to good use. My only suggestion is to provide the name of the complex to your guests (Ilima). It was a little difficult in the dark to find the exact unit. The numbers on the map were very small and the letter "I" was easily confused with the number one for the very tired travelers who had just finished the Road to Hana. Once we located the unit, all was just wonderful. Thank you, Sam"

  • Relaxing

"Our first time in 402 and really liked it. Have stayed in other units and this may be our favorite due to proximity to ocean. Love the new balcony and furniture. Appreciate beach chairs & towel, ice chest, etc. great vacation!"

  • The Location is strictly 5 Star

"As was the case of the renter before us, still no respite from the remodel going on next door. The remodel of #211 was surely an improvement and done well. However, we found some of the details of room management a little wanting. Hopefully, with our help, most of the odds and ends were addressed (or will be after we left). But there is no denying that this is ultimately the best location on Maui. Close to the best beach on Maui, Keawakapu, is a great walk each day and provides for many hours of sunbathing, snorkeling and swimming. And, if you don't much appreciate the sand in your suit, Kihei Surfside has an awesome lawn on which one can lay back all day to read or sun-bathe (even nap). Only minutes away from some of the greatest golf courses in Hawaii as well as restaurants. Kihei is the place to be on Maui and the Surfside is at the top of our list (having stayed at this locale for over 20 years)."
