  • Lovely

"We spent 6 nights and were very pleased with the condo unit. It's well equipped and had everything we needed. The view is fabulous, it's quiet and the location is great. We would certainly stay here again. Also, the surrounding grounds are well maintained and the pool areas are a nice place to relax after a day at the beach and sightseeing."

  • Comfortable cottage in peaceful area with easy access to rest of the island

"Grace Cottage is located in a perfect spot to explore all of Maui. You are in a quiet residential neighborhood between highway 31 and the main beachfront strip (S. Kihei Rd.) where you will find dining, stores and anything else you need. The neighborhood is so peaceful. Sitting on the lanai for meals or just relaxing was a major highlight. The outdoor shower (with full privacy) was a huge plus. The second bed is a futon but this is a perfect cottage for a couple. We wouldn't recommend walking to the beaches with gear as it'll take you about 20 minutes but you're just a couple minute drive away from free parking at multiple beaches. Better yet, drive north on Kihei Rd. past the condos, park on the side of the road and find your own stretch of beach. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to relax with access to everything without feeling like you're staying in the middle of everything."

  • Best stay so far at Kamaole Sands!

"This was our 5th stay at Kamaole Sands and by far the best! Aside from all of the usual conveniences that come standard at Kamaole Sands, this unit provides a lot more to ensure a great vacation. The following are things that we found very nice to have that other units may not provide; -Air Conditioning unit in the bedroom. This was a HUGE plus due to the layout of the condos in KS, the bedrooms are located far away from the air conditioning unit (no more hot restless nights). -Central location. Near the pool, near parking, close walk to the beach and facing the courtyard of the complex. -Well appointed and clean! -Beach chairs, beach and pool towels, snorkels and masks, cooler and beach toys are all neatly packed on lanai in bins for your use. -Brand new washer and dryer makes laundry easy! -Nice seating arrangement on Lanai You can't go wrong staying here, we'll be back! Jen and Joel"

  • we loved this house

"Our family of 6 (16-yr-old daughter, 14-yr-old son, 12-yr-old daughter, 8-yr-old son) plus my brother (33 yr-old) stayed here July 2015 and loved it. The only thing that is keeping me from giving this house an "excellent" rating is the fact that the downstairs bedroom didn't have air conditioning and it was very hot in there. We had 2 fans going in there with the window and door open, but it was still very hot. I think a small AC or even a little portable one should be put in there. Our favorite part of the house is the back porch. We spent most of our time out there. The sofas and chairs out there were very comfortable and it was much cooler than the livingroom. We used the table and chairs out there a lot, too, for meals, card games, or just hanging out. There were several unplanned naps taken out there, too. The neighborhood is so quiet and the breeze so nice. And, of course, the view is breathtaking. Our daughters shared the king bed in one bedroom, our older son had the bedroom with the full/queen(?) bed to himself, our 8-yr-old son shared the king bed with us in the master bedroom (only because it's what he's used to), and my brother was in the hot bedroom downstairs. It was really nice having 3 full bathrooms. The shower head in the master bathroom was my second favorite part of the house and I regret not writing down what kind it was! We hardly spent time in the livingroom simply because it was too hot, but the porch made up for that. The kitchen was great --everything in perfect working order and the only thing we missed was a rice cooker because we have rice with every meal. Baby cockroaches and small centipedes were sighted, but that is totally expected in the tropics. There was room for both of our minivans to park in driveway in front of the house. The owner's son is close by if you have any issues and he is very nice and helpful. Our 14-yr-old son didn't realize the screen sliding door was closed and walked right through it one evening ripping it all the way off. The owner's son fixed it without charging us. Overall, we love the house and would stay there every year if only that 4th bedroom downstairs had AC."
