"Super clean, well-stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation. Great location in proximity to the beach, pool and Kihei. The rooftop was an especially loved aspect as we watched the sun set over the ocean every night of our stay."

  • So sad to leave!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your condo, and hopefully we will be back! Not only was it a clean, comfortable place to stay, but you really anticipated any need we might have - from snorkel gear to beach towels and beach chairs. Our mornings began with coffee and breakfast on the lanai as we watched the sun slowly light up the palm trees and change the colors of the ocean. After a day of sightseeing activities, it was heaven to come back to the quiet condo for a swim in the ocean and the pool. The sound of the waves crashing lulled us to sleep each night. Maui was fabulous and a good part of it was due to these accommodations. Thanks - Judy & Ron"

  • Family from AZ

"OMG!!!! Can I just say first how amazing the owners are! Bob was just the kindest when speaking with him on the phone when trying to finalize our plans and so very accommodating. He sent us a list of the best places to go while we were there, taking the guess work out of restaurants etc. The condo was spectacular, truly a Hawaiian getaway which I want to visit again.....soon, very soon! The condo was spotless and had anything you would possibly need. Beach chairs, coolers and beach umbrellas came in super handy! The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were awesome ( love a nice shower and big area to get ready, especially with teenagers). The beach is a quick 2 min walk and has an abundance of sea life , snorkeling there was amazing! The neighbors were super friendly as well, felt truly like home away from home but with a beach (LOL, we live in AZ). Bob, if you read this I just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU for such a wonderful stay and we will definitely be telling our friends and family about your lovely condo. For those who will be staying we would totally recommend Maui Tacos a few blocks away for amazing fish tacos and Fred's a half block away has great Mexican food as well, Tuesday Taco night is inexpensive and very tasty. We would also recommend if you want a great trip to Molokini and Turtle town - the people that run the boat are super sweet and was inexpensive compared to others and only takes 59 total passengers as opposed to 100+, makes for a much nicer experience. Book online to save$$. Thanks again Bob and hope to use your condo again in the near future!"

  • Excellent Location!

"This condo exceeded our expectations! The owner Gary was also very responsive and accommodating when we asked to extend our checkout time, and when we had a minor maintenance issue. Here are just a few things I would want to know prior to booking: The Mana Kai condo building has a pretty darn perfect location. It's in Kihei, which is on the southern side of Maui and is less crowded/touristy than the northern side of the island (Lahaina). The condo is a short 5-10 minute drive from downtown Kihei, which has several cute little restaurants, and you can also drive 5 minutes south and get to Wailea, which has more upscale dining and shopping. The view from the balcony (and really the entire condo) is spectacular - the beach is almost directly under the balcony and you see Molokini Crater in the distance! Other perks about the location are that the condo building has a great restaurant - 5 Palms - on the first floor, which has an excellent happy hour ($7 Mai Tai's!). The building also has a convenience store in it, which was super handy, and a grass covered beach area with chairs/showers provided. Really, it can't get much better than that! Oh wait, it's also 5 minutes from the boat dock, which comes in very handy if you are planning any water excursions. Some minor things to be aware of: one of the bedrooms is basically connected to the living room, and at night there is a retractable wall that you move into place to "create" the bedroom. The bedroom is therefore not super private, and it can also get pretty hot at night because the air conditioning does not circulate properly when then wall is closed. Another thing to be aware of is that the 5 Palms kitchen is directly below this unit (#203). Occasionally, we'd return to the condo and it would smell strongly like a restaurant kitchen. However, these issues were very minor and we would undoubtedly choose to stay here again!"
