  • we loved this house

"Our family of 6 (16-yr-old daughter, 14-yr-old son, 12-yr-old daughter, 8-yr-old son) plus my brother (33 yr-old) stayed here July 2015 and loved it. The only thing that is keeping me from giving this house an "excellent" rating is the fact that the downstairs bedroom didn't have air conditioning and it was very hot in there. We had 2 fans going in there with the window and door open, but it was still very hot. I think a small AC or even a little portable one should be put in there. Our favorite part of the house is the back porch. We spent most of our time out there. The sofas and chairs out there were very comfortable and it was much cooler than the livingroom. We used the table and chairs out there a lot, too, for meals, card games, or just hanging out. There were several unplanned naps taken out there, too. The neighborhood is so quiet and the breeze so nice. And, of course, the view is breathtaking. Our daughters shared the king bed in one bedroom, our older son had the bedroom with the full/queen(?) bed to himself, our 8-yr-old son shared the king bed with us in the master bedroom (only because it's what he's used to), and my brother was in the hot bedroom downstairs. It was really nice having 3 full bathrooms. The shower head in the master bathroom was my second favorite part of the house and I regret not writing down what kind it was! We hardly spent time in the livingroom simply because it was too hot, but the porch made up for that. The kitchen was great --everything in perfect working order and the only thing we missed was a rice cooker because we have rice with every meal. Baby cockroaches and small centipedes were sighted, but that is totally expected in the tropics. There was room for both of our minivans to park in driveway in front of the house. The owner's son is close by if you have any issues and he is very nice and helpful. Our 14-yr-old son didn't realize the screen sliding door was closed and walked right through it one evening ripping it all the way off. The owner's son fixed it without charging us. Overall, we love the house and would stay there every year if only that 4th bedroom downstairs had AC."

  • Absolutely fabulous stay at Joe and Linda's Condo!

"The condo is located in beautiful Maui Kamaole condo complex, which has a beautiful lush resort-like feel. There's a pool located 3 mins (walking) from Joe and Linda's condo (if ever you don't want to go to the beach). There is also a great tennis court and BBQ area facing the condo! Really convenient. The condo is located in the Melia building which is tucked away nicely, super private. Both balcony's were very private - couldn't see anything but lush gardens and mountains. The balcony off of the living room was great to sun bathe as well! As for the inside of the condo - it was GORGEOUS! So clean, beautifully decorated in a lovely beach theme. The bed was insanely comfy, I believe it has a pillow top mattress! Both bathrooms were so great as well! We honestly kept saying how lucky we were to have found such a condo. :) Location-wise it was also fabulous. We had a rental car which we parked in the allocated space right outside the condo, and we had no problem driving 5 mins to the Kamaole beaches. We loved Charlie Young Beach. It's so close to Wailea area as well, so we went there a couple times. Best breakfast we had was Kihei Caffé (7 mins drive) Monkeypod kitchen in Wailea was great! Coconut Fish cafe was also amazing. ...all this is within 5-15 mins from the condo. Also! Joe was super responsive. I lost my wallet while in Maui and he was very helpful and understanding. Thanks Joe and Linda for an amazing stay! We won't hesitate to recommend this condo to friends."

  • Beautiful view, great location, well-furnished condo

"Our family of six stayed here from 3rd to 10th August. The condo was clean and well-furnished with A/C, fully-equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, private parking, and wireless internet. The three bedrooms and two full baths were clean and comfortable. The views of the Pacific Ocean, mountains and sunsets are truly breathtaking! This condo is right on the beach, so the kids could go down to play and we could conveniently watch over them from the lanai. We also saw turtles inside the fish pond while strolling on the beach. The Indian restaurant downstairs has decent food and turned out to be very convenient for our family. The rental agency was great to work with. Our family was very taken care of and and had a wonderful time."

  • Love Maui

"My husband and I spent three glorious weeks in this condo. I gave 4 stars because the floors were a bit dirty when we got there but after I notified Sue she was very quick to remedy the problem. The condo has a beautiful view of the ocean and for sunset all you have to do is go downstairs, walk around the corner and you can see it. This condo is centrally located to grocery stores and multiple restaurants that are very good. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future."
