  • We love Kamaole Sands!

"My wife, 18 month old son and I took a week long vacation to Maui and we're so glad we stayed in this unit. We had friends renting a unit in another building in the complex, and it was a great home base for our adventures on the island. The complex's amenities are great. We especially enjoyed the pool area (in all there is a pool, a children's pool, and a family hot tub) and the numerous BBQs. The unit comes equipped with all the beach toys and gear a family could need and a great beach is a 5 minute walk away across the road. While the finishes could use a bit of updating, the condo is very comfortable and has everything you need to cook and enjoy yourself. It was especially nice to have the little things (olive oil, salt, pepper, other spices) when we showed up so we didn't have to buy those. Finally, the unit manager (Elyse) is incredibly kind. The complex erroneously charged us a $15 booking fee when we arrived and when I told her about the charge, she quickly reimbursed it. We hope to come back next year!"

  • Amazing Retreat!!

"First timers to Maui, we had a wonderful stay. Was a very quiet neighborhood and loved the location. Cottage was very clean and comfortable, we did shop for food and cooked in for several meals. Would recommend Walmart in Kahului (best food prices). We brought a TomTom with which made getting around the Island very easy. So much to do and see. We loved the Road to Hana, we took two days to explore. We purchased R2H CD guide at ABC store which was very helpful, as some land marks came up pretty quick on road. State parks were awesome, Haleakala has two locations tip: once you pay to enter first park fee was good for entry into other parks for a few days, ask! Waianpanapa State park is a must see, is located just before Hana and there was no entry fee. We booked all our Ocean trips , Whale watching, dinner cruise, and snorkeling through Pacific Whale Foundation, had a great experience with them, we saw whales on every trip. Kihei has a lot of beaches and market places to shop. We loved our stay in Maui and would recommend this cottage to family and friends. We liked that there was no cable/local TV access (kept us off couch) , internet access worked great to update us on weather and social media. Grace Cottage met all our expectations and there we not surprises, which is always a plus. Thanks Christine!!"

  • Amazing vacation, beutiful condo

"Our stay at Kihei Akahi was amazing! The condo was more that we could have asked for, the pictures do not do it justice. The condo is tastefully decorated and was very clean upon arrival. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need. Loved the lanai for morning coffee or just to relax with a book. Close to pool and bbq area. Loved the beach gear, especially the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and beach umbrella. Great location, close to shops, restaurants and most importantly the beach. The owners were great to work with, very responsive. Amazing value, already planning our return!"

  • Comfy condo in wonderful resort

"We have been to Kihei 4 times in the last 5 years. This time we had the pleasure of staying at Kamaole Sands. This unit was very clean and comfortable. We spent hours on the large lanai reading and relaxing after time at the beach and ate almost every meal out there as well. We could partially view the ocean and sunsets from the lanai and we never tired of the view of the property with the beautiful palm trees and gardens. The grounds were immaculate and very well laid out. Although the weather was quite hot and humid, we kept cool using A/C in the bedroom, and fans in the living room area. The cross breeze in the unit was good too. And the location is ideal with Kamaole Beach III steps away directly across the street, and shops and restaurants walking distance up the road. The owners responded to emails and questions quickly which was both appreciated and reassuring. We would definitely return to this unit."
