  • Best family vacation EVER! Exceptional condo, really clean & beautiful!

"I'll begin by saying that we strategically chose two places on Maui to stay in order to have two different experiences. First five days at a cottage in Haiku provided the off-the-beaten path experience we were seeking. Then we moved to Kihei and couldn't have been more pleased with our condo choice. We were just flabbergasted at how well cared for and clean this condo and overall property was. We felt like we won the jackpot! This unit is absolutely centrally located to pool and courtyard amenities. The grounds were well groomed, and just a short walk to the beach each night across Kihei street right in front of Kamaole Sands. Our week was spent doing a lot of sightseeing all around Maui and we looked forward to our time back at the condo for relaxation. Finding a grocery store was no problem. Upon check-in, Kamaole Sands gave us the local grocery chain membership card to get the better pricing. It was the right sized store that had everything we needed. I couldn't believe that we got to cook in that kitchen for a week. It was lovely. Albeit a little small compared to back home, but clean and effective. Supplies were available both in the refrigerator (butter, jelly, peanut butter, sugar, etc) and cupboard (oil, spices, flour) so that we didn't have to buy absolutely everything at the store. SO helpful! Families of any size would love it here. Our unit slept our family of 5 comfortably, and had the best pull-out couch EVER! The kids usually don't fight over that one, but this time they did. Traveling with 2 teens and 1 ten yr old. Cannot say enough great things about condo! Wish we could return annually. I would pick this one each time... Since this is a review - I have to add the downside to condo living. Kids were asked NOT to kick a soccer ball around on the lawn (open grass) portion of the property, and the pool rules were pretty strict."

  • A Great Vacation

"We recently spent 12 nights at the Hale Hui Kai Unit 309, with another couple, (more than adequate for 4), and found the entire experience perfect in every way. The condo is extremely well furnished and equipped and everything worked perfectly. The air conditioning and washer/dryer was so appreciated and helpful. Location, location, location; close to town, shopping and restaurants (Sorrento's right next door walking distance was great.) Awesome views, beach is right there, pool was wonderful and a perfect area by the pool for visiting and playing cards. Condo mgmt was very friendly. Highly recommend this condo unit you will not be disappointed. Thank you John and Cindy, we would love to come back..."

"We visit maui pretty often and I think that we finally found our go place!! The condo has an amazing view, very roomy, there is a very nice beach across the street, and it is filled everything you can think of!! The complex itself is beautiful and very close to shops and restaurants. The owners were amazing to work with and made sure our stay was as perfect as we had expected it to be!! Thank you very much for sharing this little piece of paradise with our family! We hope to be back soon :)"

  • Privacy, great kitchen tools, close proximity to extraordinary snorkeling and two bathrooms!!!!

"My hubby and I love to rent private homes and condos when we travel - it gives us a place in which to eat as few or as many meals as we like, especially breakfast, since I wake up hungry! This condo, though surrounded by loads of others, has a wonderfully private lanai, no owner on site watching over you making you feel as though you are a teenager coming home late at night (yes, that happened to us on Oahu), and has a very sophisticated kitchen stocked with all the tools you could possibly need, including really sharp knives and baking gear. We LOVED being able to walk across the street to swim and boogie board, we used the portable cooler daily, we enjoyed the beach chairs and we slept well in this quiet complex. Best of all we could rise early, drive to Ahihi and the Dumps, two amazing snorkeling sites, then have a nice coffee in Wailea or walk around one of the beautiful resort properties (Four Seasons and Fairmont were our faves). All of it is closeby and made for a relaxing and happy experience. Highly recommended! Oh, and having two bathrooms was so lovely. My hubby and I weren't in each other's way and could get ready for the day faster!"
