  • Lots of room for large family

"The unit was great for our family of 11 which included four generations. Loved the big kitchen and the pool in the resort was great for our grandchildren just steps away. Also enjoyed walking across the street to the beach for morning walks and shell hunting. Could have a few maintenance things done which we shared with the manager."

  • Perfect location, wonderful hosts, beautiful & new property

"We loved our stay at the Hibiscus Hideaway. The location in Kihei gives great access to the many spectacular places Maui has to offer. Not only can you walk to the beach, but a short drive away is the Wailea-Makena resort area. Its central location also makes it a great starting point for the trip to Hana as well as Lahaina. The property itself is spotless and the hosts could not be more gracious. The BBQ lighter gave out one evening and the next morning we were surprised with a brand new BBQ, which we used many nights on the beautifully secluded lanai. An added bonus were our daily visits from Kapala a lovely and well behaved king Charles spaniel! We highly recommend Hibiscus Hideaway whether you are a first time or returning visitor to Maui. We plan on coming back!"

  • Great condo

"This is one of those places you almost hate to give a great review to because you don't want others to learn about this great gem. We just got back from a stay in this condo and it was great. This was our 10th trip to Maui and spent most trips across the street but have been looking at this complex to rent for a few years. We decided to rent this year and glad we did. This is a very quiet complex and folks were very nice and friendly, which is what we enjoy. We loved the keyless entry this unit had for both the condo and the pool, we never had to remember the key or struggle to get in. Parking is very convenient (although we recommend not parking in the spot right by the front door, there is a bird in the tree that liked our car :). Although if it happens there is a great spot for washing your car in the complext or maybe you will get lucky like us and the church across the street will be having a car wash. Internet connection was really easy and stayed connected which was better than other places we have been in. The onsite manager was very helpful and checked in on us. We love being on the first floor although the neighbors above on occasion had 'heavy feet' but really wasn't bad. We were able to leave windows open at night with it being fairly quiet, only 1 night was it noisy at the grocery store so not bad. The pool was enjoyable and always had room, and we barbecued alot which was great. They are in the process of installing solar panels in the complex and I was impressed how respectful and quiet the work was. We have stayed across the street with construction and it was pretty noisy during the day. The air conditioners work great although with the cross breeze you get with the open floor plans and the ceiling fans, its really not needed. You can't go wrong with this condo and we would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice relaxing vacation."
