  • Location! Location! Location!

"This condo could not be in a more convenient location. Right on on of the main roads in Kihei -- just minutes from the airport (yet oddly no airplane noise to speak of), down the street from lots of shopping and restaurants, across the street from a little beach. It's in a pretty touristy area, which means it has a lot of conveniences -- but it wasn't obnoxiously crowded or over-run. Still had a laid-back, kind of residential, vibe. The unit itself was super. Very clean and comfortable. (Thanks, Irene!) Easy parking. And Travis has it stocked with everything you could need. We only stayed 4 days but could have easily spent a week there -- or more! Very "homey." The complex was lovely as well. It was nice to have a place to do laundry. We didn't swim but the pool looked nice. Travis was fantastic to work with -- though we never met him he was super responsive and very accommodating. Would have liked to buy him a beer. Next time. :-) The *only* thing we could consider a slight drawback was the flip side of the convenience. Being right on the main drag there was inevitable street noise. (We live out in the country so we may be more susceptible to it.) After the first night, though, we got used it pretty quickly and tuned it out. We felt it was a fair trade-off for such a comfortable, convenient and affordable vacation condo. And here are a few of our other personal Maui recommendations: Try the fish tacos at Paia down the street -- SO GOOD! Happy hour special gets you a pint and a fish taco for $6. Redline Raft snorkle tour to Molikini -- worth every penny Visit Haleakala -- a once-in-a-lifetime experience Aloha and enjoy!"

  • Great Condo in South Kihei

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo unit (and the complex) seems well maintained and well managed. The unit looks as nice as the pictures showed it to be. Great spot in the heart of South Kihei. Easy walk to the beach and several restaurant options nearby. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."

  • Very nice accommodation for the family with everything you need!

"We want to thank Joann for letting us stay in her place at Kihei Holiday. We have travelled around and been to Maui a few times and this was one of our favourites. The place was clean and very well kept, our family enjoyed the use of the pool each day. The complex itself was very quiet, we were often the only ones in the pool or were sharing it with only a few others, even the thought the complex looked very full. The place was very comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and amenities, and there are even some beach items in the closet that we were able to make use to and we added a couple of items as well. The beach across the street is perfect for a morning or sunset walk and on calm days we were able to swim there. You are very close to the Pilani hi way and not far from everything just a bit further south on S. Kihei Road. We liked this place because it was away from the hustle and bustle of Kihei but close enough to enjoy the town and checkout any of the beaches in the Kihei, Wailea and Makenna area. Joann was so nice to deal with, she sent us a ton of information prior to our trip about the place itself as well as the area and Maui, and even though we have been there times before we always learn and find something new to do! With Joann we were almost so prepared it didn't feel right getting there and just being able to immediately start to enjoy the trip, thanks again and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy Maui."
