  • Great Condo in a fabulous complex!

"We have been staying at the Kamaole Sands for 8 years and have stayed in several of the units and this unit would be one of our top picks! It was clean and pleasantly stocked. Everything that you need for your vacation is there. It's in a great location in the complex close to the pool and BBQ pits. Only a short walk to Kamaole III beach, shops and restaurants. The complex itself is beautiful and very quiet. The owners were also great! Had a small appliance problem and it was dealt with the next day! Would definitely recommend this unit and look forward to our next visit!"

  • Perfect for an intimate Wedding

"Wow! We are still "high" on our fabulous time at Aloha Villas. A bunch of family and friends stayed with us to fill up the entire estate. It was a dream! We checked in on a Monday, celebrated our wedding on a Thursday, and checked out on Saturday. It was PERFECT. I loved that only a couple of guests who came for the event had to drive, but most of us could just climb into bed after celebrating. Mimi stopped by to congratulate us on the day of the wedding, which was super sweet. The back lanai was perfect for about 7 round tables (our event ended up being almost exactly 50 people but really 60 would have been comfortable too) and a couple buffet tables for food. We catered our food from our favorite restaurant near the villas and kept it all very simple. Mimi was very available for us if needed and made us feel comfortable to come back anytime. We're all definitely dreaming of that!! The back lawn and beach is public, but in 5 days we really didn't have any issues to report here. Just important to remember it is public, though usually it felt like our own ;). Please stay here and have fun with all of your friends. We treasure every moment and CANNOT wait to go back!!!"

  • Fantastic location!

"This unit was on the 4th floor of the Kihei Akahi, in building C (4 buildings on the property). I was traveling with my husband and two children ages 5 months and 3 years for context. THE GOOD: 1. The location is amazing, directly across the street from Kamaole Park Beach II which was not crowded and lovely for my daughter to play in the waves. On a small 'strip' of street which gave us easy walkable access to restaurants, little shops and of course, ice cream. A short drive to Foodland, Wailea shops, etc. 2. The unit was spacious. Well stocked kitchen. Wi fi was good. Lovely view of the water (when standing on the balcony). 3. In suite laundry (with detergent provided by the front desk). Awesome! 4. Tonnes of beach stuff to use (beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach towels, snorkel gear etc) 5. Free dedicated parking spot. 6. The two pools are clean and convenient. BBQs poolside are obviously well maintained (as are the surrounding gardens/grounds). Can only access pools with a key which keeps them secure. There are always shady spots to sit in poolside (important with baby). 7. Fast elevators. THE NOT SO GOOD: 1. The pull out in the living room was incredibly uncomfortable. Completely adequate for my 3 year old but terrible for anyone adult sized. 2. No bathtub. I may have missed this in the description... 3. Dated decor and linens. Not sure how often the comforters (not duvets with covers) would have been cleaned... 4. Air con ok for living room but not strong enough to cool bedroom (which is at the front of the unit). 5. Windows in the bedroom are not sound proof and bedrooms face onto the main walk ways of the building. So, you hear people walking by as well as outside traffic noise (cars, garbage trucks during baby nap time, etc). In short, I would definitely stay at the Kihei Ahaki again; however, would opt for a ground level suite (many of which open out to a lovely grassy but NOT ENCLOSED area which would be great for older or supervised kids). Of note, our building was concrete which limited noise issues through walls/ceilings (unlike building B)."

  • Amazing Hawaii Vacation

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing Hawaii vacation in Unit 503. We've visited Hawaii many times and found this condo to be one of our favorite. We will definitely would like to return here. Everything was great - from the comfortable furniture, fully stocked kitchen and great TV's -- when we were not on the beach or lanai enjoying our ocean front view!"
