  • Well equipped with great location.

"The Good: The unit has a great location. It's conveniently located on the main floor of the complex and a mere 3 minute walk to the beach and a few more minutes to many restaurants, shops and stores. It has 2 parking stalls which helps you to find one with at least one easily accessible side to your car/minivan. The unit is decorated quite nicely and has all the items one would need for an extended stay. Internet is fast and works well. Good choice of entertainment both electronic and old school board games. Are included in the unit. A full selection of beach equipment from chairs and umbrellas to coolers and boogie boards is also available. The Bad: Air conditioning is one wall mounted unit in the main room ONLY and it is somewhat buried behind the couch which really hampers the circulation of the air. All three beds are horrible. Two are very hard - although one of these had an owner supplied 3" foam topper which did help. The others did not. The third bedroom mattress needs to be replaced. It's an old tired mattress that is thin and has lost it's spring. After a night of sleeping, we requested that they purchase the foam toppers for the other two beds or at least one more - which they refused. We arrived to find only 3 of the 7 vertical blinds hung on the living room windows/patio door wall. These windows/door open to the ground level parking lot and sidewalk and people had a clear view to us. We found the broken blinds in the closet and were able to get enough up to provide the necessary privacy. These too need to be replaced with something that works properly. The Ugly: We wound up purchasing a Novafoam mattress topper for one of the beds ourselves from Costco at a cost of $139.99 which we wound up leaving it there. I did not think our request for the owner/property manager to provide us this was out of line as it would benefit them in the comfort of their future renters. I was a bit surprised they refused and sited that they could not afford the added cost as the reason. Perhaps I may not have been so critical in my review had they taken care of their guests. In summary, it is a well equipped 3 bedroom unit with a great location and is somewhat affordable. With some minor upgrades I think this unit could be a very comfortable, trouble free rental."

  • Perfect location!

"This condo is right on a beautiful, long beach, perfect for walking. A good supermarket, numerous great restaurants, and shopping are close by. South Maui Cycles (good bike rentals at a reasonable price) is also walking distance away. The sunset each night was directly over the ocean straight out from our condo and we saw lots of whales spouting and breaching offshore. The condo has all amenities you would need and the manager is very helpful. Our only issue was that the late night check-in process didn't work well. If you arrive after 5pm, you have to call the rental agency to get the code for the lock box which holds your key. Well, they didn't answer the phone when we called and the keys on their direct phone box onsite didn't work properly. The onsite condo manager, John, helped us get through with his persistence to keep calling and they finally picked up and gave us the code. It would be have been better if the lock box code was given to us via email with our confirmation (or a couple of days prior to our arrival) AND if John was given the code in case he has to resolve a problem accessing the box. Once we got our key, though, everything else was fantastic!"

  • Nicely located, clean, and well-appointed.

"The condo is very attractive and comfortable. The check-in process was a breeze. We appreciated that the unit was so clean, nicely furnished, and had everything you could ask for and more in the way of cooking and other convenience items. The outdoor BBQ grills were a nice feature along with the beautiful landscaping. Great value!"

  • Cosy with good location

"Great location in Maui. We enjoyed being close to so many beaches (we picked a new one each day) and having the pool right outside. After 5 days in Waikiki it was great to be able to cook our meals, put a load of laundry on and have some of the comforts of home. The pool & beach toys were a hit with our 10 year old. A great part of our overall vacation."
